Dec 1 st - races @ Hyd ,

First day of the month , lots of punters looking forward to the races with the Pockets FULL and aiming to Multiply the Same. As always exercise caution when backing FANCIED Horses.

My picks -

1. Citi Dancer - Break Point.

Lucky Damsel , Kohinoor Fairytale and Renuka's Pride are mere participants.


Lady Patricia is definitely the best of the lot but has lost its earlier form. Difficult to see it Winning at this handicap.


Flaming Ruby - ridden by a mediocre Jockey , stable was in action on Sunday. Risky bet.


Indian Army , surprise Winner in race 26. Choice of Jockey is a ??

Citi Dancer - was earlier with Trainer Prasad Raju , last run was suggestive of its potential. Should do well at this handicap.

Break Point - a few runs in Monsoon was over unsuitable distances. Tracked regularly , can Strike.


2.Jockey merit will decide the RACE.

Left to me , i would prefer the Winner over the same Distance. 

3.Bad race , I would look at Dancing Fairy  and Donna Summers for PLACE.

There are some well known runners here , may oblige but post Sunday results , better to keep away from certain stables. 

4.Golden Tricks , Fuedal Lords , Cannon Treasure.

If Fuedal Lords takes a level JUMP , race is as good as OVER.


Golden Tricks was demoted and picked up a race recently. Has definitely seen better horses in its career. Has the services of a good rider. Can WIN.



Cannon Treasure and Pythagoras for the minor placings.

5.Sparkling Flame , Divine Ganges , Pygmalion.

looks open enough.


Sparking Flame should be involved in the finish.Last run was deceptive.

Divine Ganges was held up for room in race 33. Is capable of a better show. 

6.Chesapeake , Kings Cruise , Kohinoor King.

Kings Cruise had the better of Fancied Vendatta , with Chesapeake finishing a close THIRD. The change in Jockey and the relative handicap , may see the latter turn the tables.


Kohinoor King , many listless runs in Monsoon , capable of surprising , CLASS is Visible , intent is the ???

7.Bold Brigade , Al Jabal , the Beatles Angel.

Close call, I am opting for this Order based on JOCKEY MERIT.


Rhythmic Gymnast has no chance here and Southern Queen can at best hope to Place.

8.Best race of the day , time to go home

I may have a look at Miracle. ( hoping the name brings some SMILES, just in case the day was BAD )

( decided to bet on smaller scale today due to uncertain nature of Races and the prevailing odds )

as usual i skip the first 3 races and hence only the phone bets 


1.Citi Dancer Place : lost
2.Ate favorite and Backed Winner ; good surplus
3.had the Winner but backed Donna For place : Lost

( as it is usually late from gates no Confidence ) Small bet. Small surplus

5.Ate Favorite , backed Sparkling Flame - Surplus.

6.had a BIG bet on Cheapsake . LOST .As Gnaneshwar had only 1 Mount and the Owners had a Winner in the first race , had a Token bet on Arabian Dancer for WIN and Place.Had to shell out tax ,hence a Small Loss. 


7.With Sk Kassam having the double and Srinagesh not doing well on favorites , was looking for the Upset. Backed Beatles Angles each way and then at the last minute backed Belle Dancer as there was Positive Jockey Switch , got 20 and 3.5
Good Profit.


8.Lost interest in the last race , small bet on Miracle.


Overall a GOOD DAY.

Srinath ; the bookies Favorite ??

Only 2 of the 8 ON MONEY favorites lost on Sunday and incidently both were ridden by the Overrated Y S Srinath. No surprises since he obliged on 2 long Priced Horses on Saturday at bangalore. Both the days he was on the ROLLS of the Bookies.

Sundays performance was really the icing in the cake ,

On Ecstatica , ( backed down from 4.25 to 2 to 1 ) he rode such a overconfident race that it looked like WINNING was a formality . He did not even realise how close the Winning Post was. 

On Tyumen , he had the better of Bruckner but for reasons unknown , fell back.

On NEFYN , he got carried away by the Indiarace.com article which stated that it was another OASIS star in the making. He gave the feeling that the Horse was TOo Good for this BUNCH and hence could make his MOVE at any time.Unfortunate that he just about managed to finish 3 rd.

The best was reserved for Juventus. The horse was looking better than Rhapsidion Snow on handicap yet he ended in the rucks with even Mothers pride getting the better of the Horse at the end.

Well Punters do know the fate of Horses of the Rattonseys when installed as favorite. But they hoped that Juventus was too Good to be Hooked.

No wonder the Jockeys flown in from ABROAD get the cream of the Rides. If YS Srinath was asked to Ride on all those Horses today , the result would have been 8 / 8 in favour of the bookies.

The Picture  after morning odds is Pretty Bad ( or sad ) depends on which way you look a it.7 and may be 8 out of the 10 races will have ONMONEY favorites .Going by the expected odds , if ONE were to LAY all Horses and EVEN 3 FAIL , you may still end with surplus.Conversely if a punter backs 5 Winners and Loses 3 , even then he may end with a LOSS as the ODDS are so LOW on many horses.

With many declarations in respect of Jockeys pending  
( pathetic to see so many of them from Shroff ) it is indeed difficult to shortlist as a Mediocre Jockey can ruin the chances of a Good horse.

Winners  in respect of Most of the races may be restricted to the JODI as there are no Long Shots in View.



1. River Memories , Brief Encounter , River Minstrel.

Krug -  track work given almost on a daily basis , but with the fancied horses in the stables.Jockey presence is not positive.

River Memories can do well with jockey merit favoring the horse.

Brief Encounter came up very well in race 161 in pune , not sighted since then in the tracks or the POOL ??

River Minstrel , good chance to place.

( backed River Minstrel and had a negative bet on River Memories : Lost )



2. Esctatica , Angelo.


Not much to choose from.

( backed Esctatica at 4 to 1 in the morning , favorite was 40 paisa, by race time it was 2 to 1 and favorite 90 paisa. Backed Truinfo  SHP  to cover the  WIN Bet , small Loss ) 

3.bad race with too many interlinked horses in the fray.


Demonstrator and Honey Bee are my choices.


Tyumen has seen better horses but not tracked often to warrant a bet.


Bruckner has failed so often that its difficult to consider a win bet.

4.Rhythm Divine , Midnight Romance , Ciel Indienne.

race for 2 year old's. Can go any which way.

First named is fashionably bred ,good each way. 


( ate Favorite ,hoping for some competitive action , no one even tried to WIN , backed Rhyth Divine Each Way ; Lost BIG )



5.Agha , Spica.


Spica usually does well in Mumbai and the Pune runs are always dubious as Owner prefers his horses to do well at the main circuit only.



Agha long in tooth but has CLASS. Can upset.

( took a chance on Agha as the fancied runners were LOW on ODDS , came third Lost )

6.Our Fortune , Nefyn ( Close call )

  
River Star can place.

( should have eaten Nefyn , got carried away by the HYPE and also as all favorites were Winning , backed Forever Young each way , small surplus )

Former has an edge. Jockey merit will take it further.


(  once Srinath showed his colors in  the earlier races , there was only ONE bet and that was Rhap Snow , backed initially at 4 , went upto 5.5 , But GOOD BET , so Good Surplus )

First named faces  NO genuine  competition.


Estevez is speedy can hold on to Place.

Irish Queen may finish ahead of Amazing Ray.

I fancy You is made to run over 1100 after running over a mile. IGNORED



Target achiever skipped the mysore season , not sure of its fitness levels.IGNORED


Flying Flame has Positive change in equipment , has seen better company as a YOUNGSTER. Can WIN.


Enchanting Beauty / Unique Star ; one of them should PLACE.

2. Glory to Dancer , Incredible , Bucephalus.

Close call but Incredible should be involved in the finish.

Bucephalus came from an impossible position to WIN in race 17. The only issue is whether it can carry top weight over 1400 ?? 

Native Talent with Gnaneshwar does not impress.


Step in Style WON in tremendous fashion recently when offered the right ODDS. Earlier failed miserably whenever it was fancied. Can do well.

3.Most of the horses have participated in race 12 , which was WON by unfancied Duckworth.Track conditions did affect the chances of many horses on that day , hence the order may not be the same.


Gift a Diamond and Noble Kingdom are my choices , WIN or  Place based on race time odds.

4. the only Winners are Flashing Crown ( blr ) and Sandalwood Star / Game Dancer ( Mys ).With no visible track work and choice of Jockey the first Two can be IGNORED.


Game Dancer will Place.



Trillion Win is being tracked extensively giving the impression that the horse would be TRIED. As is expected with the Trainer and Jockey ,  race time odds will give a clear Indication.



Spark of Ilderium - suspicious stable , proof is visible in the way the horses ran in race 9 & 35 , the choice of jockeys and the odds at race time.

Defiance - Will be on the JOB tomorrow.Good bet each way.

Noble Breeze - Distance ???

( backed a few horses for place , game dancer was one of them , small loss )

5.Desert Rule , Timeless Treasure , My Friend Paul.

Aristos , difficult at this weight.
Spark of Gold , may need a few more runs to strip fit.
Blink - on and off , performance. Jockey merit may enable a place SPOT.
My Friend Paul - bright chance to PLACE. Hope the Jockey is upto the task.
Desert Rule - had a lung opener recently carrying top weight.Has the scales in favour. Can UPSET.
Timeless Treasure - no doubt the best in the field but not running often. Difficult to Opt for WIN bet.

6.Class IV - Bad race.



Still Will and Idar Princess are my choices for PLACE.

7.OBAN may WIN.

I totally forgot Star of Marmalade in the initial post. Has definitely seen Classier Horses in its earlier days but has some how failed on the larger stage. Skipped the Mysore season.Fashionably bred , tracking extremely WELL , but as always HOW to bet if it is ON Money and below .70 ??


Lowndes Square and Southern Gladiator are the contenders for PLACE.

8.Fernhill Palace Bangalore 1000 Guineas.

Captivating - extremely difficult.
Mystic Quest - was seen finishing on well in Fleet Indian , race at Mysore.Can place.
Tanzanaite - going by its runs in Bangalore Summer , this Horse stands a decent chance to strike.
Hatsuhaana - Impressive Winner at Mysore after some lacklustre performances in Summer. Can it upset ???
Youre so Beautiful - Trainer had the doosra in Mysore.Lacks CLASS.
Gypsy magic - on a Hatrick. Is expected to complete the formality ( if all goes well , tempermental FILLY ) . In any case , not many bet if it is below .60.

9.Sparkling Adventure , Double Elite , Glory Bound.



The first named looks GOOD HERE as the handicap favours the horse.
Double Elite , has seen better days. Should place.

END of DAY , Decent surplus as all the HORSES LAID , LOST out in Competitive racing  unlike Mumbai where most of the favorites WON due to lack of efforts by the rest.

Incredible performance

Pesi Shroff , advertised his return in a spectacular manner today .

6 Winners and 1 Second place out of 8 runners , the Only horse which did not do well was never in contention.

With this performance , the Trainer has proved that Jockeys WINS most races by their efforts. The Horse can be exceptional but if a mediocre Jockey is asked to guide its fortunes , the outcome is  far from satisfactory . 

His reputation had taken a dent after the front line horses fared badly  in the recent past. His recent record at Pune  was also nothing much to cheer about.Astral Flash and Jacqeline are the horses which Will challenge the Monopoly of C.D.Katrak trained Versaki and Sea Ruler.

Based on the action seen over the past 2 race days it is fair to summarise that the Indian Jockeys are far behind the foreign jockeys as far as merit is concerned. One needs to have an excellent Judgment of the race to succeed , none of the local jockeys are able to gauge this important aspect.

Hope the DATE brings Good memories to the punters.

as  is the case the  First day saw many ONE Sided races  which lead to many Favorites obliging at Mumbai. The same trend was also visible in Bangalore , Hyderabad and Mysore. The competitive card on Thursday will definitely ensure good ODDS on the Winners. Hope to see some of these obliging.


1. Destined Prince , Silver Screem , Winning Treat , NYMPH.

Nymph has lost to some pretty ordinary horses and does not justify a WIN Bet.Trainer Shroff was responsible for entrusting this well bred horse to mediocre jockeys and thereby ruining its record.May DO WELL but worth a NEGATIVE BET.

Destined Prince showed a lot of potential as youngster.After a set back has come down a Class. Can shine here.

Silver Screen has participated with some Youngsters and  seems FIT after some lacklustre runs in Pune. Can WIN.

Winning Treat , had a run on the opening day. That may help to achieve a Place.

2...................... The Maharaja Of Morvi , Jinx Trophy , hence just 2 entries.

3.Petra if fancied is a Negative bet as 99 %  of the Off springs of Ikhytar have not fared well. 

Tintoretto is the Horse to follow subject to jockey riding as per merit.

West End is well bred , not sure of intent.

4. Ashridge , Critical Acclaim , Fire Vault , Supreme Emperor.

Ashridge is well bred and was given a atrocious ride in race 160 as Cambiasso was fancied.Should make amends here.

Critical Acclaim , again a dubious ride towards the close of the Pune racing season. Should place.

Fire Vault , well placed on the scales , finished behind Thanda and the Giant in race 70  , subsequent runs are to be ignored as the horse was not allowed to run to its potential.

Onassis - ???? No reason to back this horse if fancied.

Supreme Emperor, can place , handicap is stiff.

Snow Queen - was ridden by Belose , now Srinath  , not much difference when the trainer is the same.

5. Astral Flash , SHOULD WIN - how many for Shroff / Mallya on thursday ??

With 3 entries from same Owner it is as good as a foregone conclusion. The other 2 are from friendly stables.  With these sort of entries at the begining of the season , difficult to see the True class of the horse.

Based on these WINS the Horse is recommended as a Good bet when facing quality field and then IT loses.

6. De Nada , Pure Elation , Dear Liza.

De Nada was not in contention in its last 2 runs.First win was impressive. Should benefit by the advantage in the weights. Can WIN.

Pure Elation , impressive Winner but beat nothing of note. Genuine test of character will be seen here.

Sea Queen - gifted a race in Pune. Very difficult for it to repeat here.

( backed De NADA BIG , was given a bad ride , that was my impression , LOST )

7.Moon Flower , Star Attraction , Forest Flair.

Moon Flower has the very good attitude of going to the front and the others have never been able to catch up with the leader. Mumbai tracks may be different but considering the bloodlines and the handicap looks to be the WINNER.

Star Attraction , should place.

Dancing Glory - distance ??/

Forest Flair , the bangalore loss was difficult to digest after having run with the likes of Versaki.

8.Bright Future , Aston Martin ( JODI RACE )  

Saffron / Roaming fame for Place.

Aston martin : Lost at the post in Pune , with better saddle assistance , can make it

Roaming Flame was given a light run after the Derby WIN by the Owner and Jockey. Has the class to trouble the best but may need a few more runs.Can Place for Sure.

Bright Future - impressive Winner on Debut. Should repeat unless Aston martin has Improved since its last run.

Saffron - fluke Winner , now ridden by Overrated Srinath. may at best place.

( ate JODI and backed Roaming Flame - Big bet for place , small surplus )

9.Vacheron , Forward Charge , Flying Spirit.

Distance is not suited for Star Alliance.

Forward Charge seems to be well prepared.Good for place.

Vacheron showed a lot of promise on debut. Is ready to strike , though it is the first run after being gelded.

Aesthetics , last day , as a fancied runner the horse lost as Jockey played to the Bookies.Can Easily place here , not visibel in tracks though.


Flying Spirit , Jockey is not entitled to whip , can hope to place.

( nothing much to do due to close odds , backed a few long shots for place Lost ) 

Overall a DISMAL picture as the Deficit was substantial.

25 th November , mysuru choices

Combination of Trainer Darashah and Gnaneshwar had a terrific start on the first day.On the 2 nd race day , they funded the bookies as none of the horses even Placed. On the 3 rd most of the horses were never in contention / in the odds , as the rider was not interested in the proceedings.

We now see many youngsters from the stable being Targeted today.A few ( not all ) should WIN. 

In any case On Money favorites are best avoided at this centre.




a few choices for the day.

1. VB race best left alone. 

Nano Blue seems to be the best of the lot.
Mahseer is at bottom handicap. Can place.





2.another vb race.


Mutual Fund will place.




3. Vb race.  

Sizzling Star is tracking well , may place.


Monlight Dancer will be tried , by the Trainer Jockey Combination Long time since they struck.


Mid Summer Star has a strong rider , can definitely place.

( as usual first 3 days no serious betting as Iam not in the Club. Backed Masurathi For WIN , small bet ,Backed Activisto , again Small bet , as the latest GP was impressive. The rest being Losing bets , Net Small Loss in the first 3 races )

4.Class Iv but poor field.


Sun Shower has done nothing to enjoy favoritsm.

Suryarath is likely to place and can WIN .

5.Bridge too far , Living Free , Bold Request. 


OPEN RACE.


Living Free is poised to strike.


Bridge too far can place and I Wanna Fly is the dark Horse in the fray.


( backed I Wanna Fly , BIG Place bet , came 4 th Lost out. Winner opened at .80 favorite on the tote , with PLACE being 10 for 10 all the indications there of intent but the jockey was a put off and the Horse was 10 year old.So did not bet.  in the end it paid 8 to 1 on the Tote  )

6.Kandiate , Forever Grande , Roanake.

Land of Smiles WON twice with " a " , not : s " , so ignored.

Roanake will Place.

Kandiate , has seen better days. Can WIN

7.mr Majestic , Gershwin , Cafe Coffee.

Limited options.

Gershwin will start as On Money Favorite.
At the bottom of the scales , with the change in equipment , Mr Majestic can create a SCARE.

( wanted to eat the favorite but odds drifted and i was in 2 minds. Thought of backing the Winner but 66 Kgs , Put me off , ended up playing some  horses for place : LOST )  

8.Kangaroo Punch , War head , Bastian Bay.

Ashkan at this weight ?? is not a attractive betting option.

Bastain bay coming from main centre. Can Surprise.

War Head , ran last week , ODDS drifted dramatically proving that it was a DUBIOUS run.

( all 3 fancied horses were  quoted between 2.5 to 3.5 , so went for War Head , BIG BET , LOSt )

9.Alpha Centauri will place.

Karumba may do well if Jockey is competent.

Favorite , REAL MAGIC is expected to oblige. 

( in dire straits after the HUGE loss , decided to extend further and ATE BIG the FAVORITE. Backed QUEEN of DESTINY for Place , Decent bet. Huge Surplus , cleared upto  100 k losses.At the end a SMALL Surplus  )

Blue Magic not sighted in tracks IGNORED.

2.Orient Glory , Kelliekir , Al Sarraah.

Orient Glory was shaping like a Winner on Debut was surprised by Magic Million. Should Oblige here.

Kelliekir , is a well bred filly , tracking well , can create an impression on debut.

Al Sarraah , Best on track , if the same is reflected in the race , Can upset.

3.Yours Mine N Ours , Cannon View , Parineeta.

First named has nothing to beat.

Cannon View is showing signs of earlier form.Can easily place.

Parineeta , well placed on the scales.

4.Party Doll , Scubario , Zycon.

the speedy Zycon will attract a lot of support ,has the initial speed to WIN but conceding weight to some youngsters. Not a Certainty.

Party Doll - looks very good for place.Can Upset.

Scubario - has been doing well over longer distances. Can definitely do well even here due to relative Jockey merit.

5.Modest bride , Tell me a Tale , Auburn Star.

Though Auburn Star had the better of Modest bride in race 180 ,  i do feel that Modest bride will reverse the position here.

Tell me a tale comes into the picture on account of the Storm Force factor.

Royal Degree does not impress.

6.Sprint Champ , Dancing Harbour , Hardccore.

Limited options.

Sprint Champ looks moral for place. Last run was under testing track conditions.

Last run of Smart Empire was dubious as the Jockey allowed the EVENTUAL Winner to take a long lead. The top handicap also did not help matters. Should do well here as it is one of the horses with genuine class.

The Speedy Cefiro can make it a start to finish affair.

Star Composer , being allowed to run as per merit this Winter after being reduced on handicap during monsoon. Should place.

8.Southern Spice , Yippee , Stroke of Luck.

Close finish expected.

9.Temple Bells , should WIN.

Glaring Godzilla and Golden Flame can hope to place.

Trainers Netto and Satish are likely to have a say in many races.

uncertain first day races at Mumbai ,

Opening day , lots of Jockeys from abroad , many new comers , not sure how well they can adapt to the situation. Going by the card it does look like some Big time Owners will make their presence felt at the races and hence will be be gifted a few races. I guess that is the norm now a days.

Difficult to make the choices on the first day as Many horses are not tracked at Mumbai and the Pune runs cant be taken at face value , the reason being the Track conditions are so different.

I would rather put in my money on Hyderabad races as there is some form to GO By and some established Jockeys  participating.

The views here are very basic and detailed explanations are not mentioned due to lack of visible track work of many horses.I am not sure if the views are going to be helpful and hence CAUTION is advised.If these views dont give any clear indications KINDLY SKIP the Blog Choices for a day.

1. VB RACE - 00 to 19 ???  What a start.

Better to skip the bets and watch the fun unfolding as most horses have nor run over this sprint distance.

I MAY go with Ashwa Prahar or Honeyday.

2.Rakesh Wadhwan has 4 Horses and we get to see THREE NEW JOCKEYS in action.

I may go with Titleist as I have no idea of which horse from RKW is being Tried.

I wish Lagad obliges at Longer odds.

3.Oh Calcutta , Firey Future , Dancing Money , Glorious Miss.
 

Again a dicey race as most of the youngsters are all NON Winners and the aged horses cant be backed with Confidence.

Dancing Money picked up a race at Pune , tracking regularly , should place.

Oh Kolkata has seen better Horses. Top Weight should not be an issue hopefully. 

( backed a few horses for place , ate Favorite again to maintain consistency , Lost ) 

4.Sea Ruler will be the unanimous Choice as it DID well 
( or Was allowed to do well ) in Pune.

I will have a Look at Thanda and the Giant for place.

( ate the favorite again , was unbeatable but i try to maintain a consistent stand always ; Lost )

5.Wings of Angel , Always , Its Spirit of Racing  

Bad race.

Always beat nothing of note , but has the services of the best Jockey. Most of the Jockeys in the race have a pathetic record.Hence a difficult choice to make.

( Tattenhoe , backed each way , small bets as Abbas horses were consistently in the frame and there was some activity in the pool .Decent Surplus )

6.Sine Qua Non . River Rule , Autocrat.

First named is very Impressive in tracks. Should Oblige.

Autocrat is well bred , can place at longer odds.

Si Como No , looks difficult for WIN.

( after ages , i backed a Horse below 3 to 1 . Sine Qua Non was backed as a Good bet in the morning )

7.Arabian Champ , Top Action , Musicial Rhythm.

Winner should emerge from these Three horses only.

Jockey merit will decide the outcome.

Top Action , after a long time is visible on tracks and tried over ideal distance.Has a decent chance to score. 

One can have a look at the runs of the foreign Jockeys in the earlier races and then decide on the bets.

8.River Blitz , Tudor Regent , Red Dragon.

Flaming Arrow , not appeared in the race tracks as often.In Consistent. Better to avoid for WIN.

Red Dragon has a dismal record at Mumbai.The Pune cource suited its style fo running.

Tudor Regent is the Horse which can cause an upset here.

River Blitz comes into contention by default.

9.Hickory , Prime Time , Seen it All.

Limited options in the last race.

( saw Bemisaal getting backed and took a chance , Decent bet : Good Payout ) 

Overall  not much to  state  , a small surplus ( hyd and mum )

my Hyderabad choices are -

1.Bharadwij or Kansas City Mac.

On pure class Zulima is superior , having finished a good 2 nd to Kohinoor Delight which is participating in the 1000 guineas.The handicap is stiff and there is no visible track work.

On Bloodlines Kansas City Mac is good and all the earlier runs have to be ignored as the horse was running wrong distance.Top handicap can be ignored being a youngster.

Bharadwij is a COLT and the Two fancied runners are fillies.Also the only 4 year old in the race , Last run was decent.Can Strike.

2.Fusion Music or Narwal . Others dont impress.

3.Rapture of Victory is having the services of the best Jockey and is also the best bred Horse in the fray. Should DO well.

Moheena , last run was eyecatching. Will easily place.

Petradura / Ice Mountain , One of them can place.

4.VijayDhanush , Chiquelle , Manduro.

Limited options , first named has a Good chance to UPSET.

Chiquelle has seen better horses in its prime , conceding weight all around . Hence a difficult choice to make for WIN. 

Manduro , consistent , can place.

5.BayWatch babe , Smarty Prince , Star Favours.

On relative merit / handicapping the first named appears better than the fancied Horse.Last run was forward.

Star Favours , has been held back for long.Can surprise.

6.Hunting Bay , Kohinoor Magic , Regents Park.

Close call between the first 2 runners.Jockey merit will play a major role in the outcome.

Regents park over 1100 is a ???

7.Doing My best , Champ Forever , Khaleels Pride.

Coral Gables is being Tortured by making it run even at this age.Hope they retire it at the end of the year. is many classes higher than the rest but AGE and HANDICAP ,does affect the horse. Hence Ignored.

Doing My Best is moral for place as most runners have no decent form to go by.


Khaleels Pride can UPSET.

8.MESSALINA , Suchiman / Kohinoor Delight / Spot on.

Nothing much to be said about the fancied runner.

Suchiman is the dark horse here as the bloodlines are impressive  and its last 2 runs were forward and impressive.

Spot On , the front runner who has been a money spinner for the Owners. Genuine chance to Upset.

Kohnioor Delight , was not far behind Messalina when the latter WON a race in Monsoon , showed vast improvement recently when it WON in tremendous style.

9.Storm Command , Tiara.

Restricted to the above 2 horses .

After posting , i noticed that many choices above are coming from the stables of trainer A.Vatsalya who has a pretty bad record , Today could be different .

Was it FRYDAY or Friday ???

for those of you who wonder how Races are FIXED , today was the Perfect Example.

the Official Bangalore Turf Club Site , Indiarace.com , Racing Pulse , Original Vel and all the racing publications NEVER mentioned that ALVIANO was GELDED since its previous RUN. Even assuming the race books got it wrong how could the Official SITE not make a note of this is the ???


Horses which run after being gelded are always given a  light run and are NEGATIVE bets.Original Vel is published by B.S.Vishnupriya , who is a PARTNER with Mrs Darius Byramji and who had a few horses with the Senior Byramji also. Surely this must have come to the notice of them at least.

A announcement 20 minutes to race time does not help as the MAIN BETS are done PRIOR to the RACES. Surely a FRAUD on the racing PUBLIC.

Yamaguchi , opens at 1.70 and within 5 minutes gallops to 11 to 1 , place odds being 1.75. I don't think any horse in the world has shown such speed .

Dark Horse , a horse coming from a notorious trainer was available at 2.75 in the morning , by race time it opened at 7 and closed at 15. Place odds at the close being 3 to 1,

P.S.Chouhan may be associated with many gambles in Mysore and Hyderabad  but SURELY , it is difficult to HOODWINK punters on a  DAILY basis . If 2 gambles one through with some help from the other Trainers and Jockeys does not mean all his Horses Will WIN .These 2 bets are an example.

I am not complaining personally as IT WAS A HUGE day for me , but to think of the Punters who BET for WIN and EVEN  place on ON THESE Horses based on the MEDIA TIPS and Inside Information pains me.

My choices for Saturday are -  

1.Dramatic Dancer - Star Presence  

none of the others have any chance. Both these horses have participated in race 11. Handicap is favoring Dramatic Dancer , however JOCKEY superiority is on Star Presence.

( The Favorite was too good for this Bunch , but there should be no regrets after the race , so Ate the Favorite and Backed Dramatic Dancer Win / Shp : Loss )

2. First of a Legend ,Super Spear , Brigade's Pride.

Son of the Soil at this handicap does not Impress for WIN.

Hoten Happening , not sighted often in the tracks. Can only hope to place.

Brigade's Pride - running some fair races , should place. 

 First of A Legend , met a superior horse , with the benefit of a race run can Improve. However this Horse is a Non Winner .Point to be noted.

Jersey Rock is the Horse which has FAILED to deliver MAXIMUM number of times. Bloodlines alone does not matter , the Trainer must also be Decent enough to Try all the Horses in the Stable.Not even worth considering a place bet. If it does well so be IT. 

Super Spear , handicap possibility,

Spark of Ilderium - ran a pathetic race recently when FANCIED , after the enquiry , trainer opts to change equpment and entrusts to a mediocre Jockey. What more needs to be said ??

( Ate Favorite and the Jodi , had a Small WIN bet on Brigade Pride and Place bet on Super Spear : 4 Payouts in One Race , Good Profit )  

3. Coorg Honey or Six Shooter ?? One of them should WIN. Jockey merit will decide the outcome.

Superb Style WILL place.

Star Assembly , going by its record , difficult choice.

Ticket Ride - has One Win to its credit. May not even place.

( backed Coorg Honey win / shp ONLY , Well not much surplus but no loss , Six Shooter was negative going by the odds ) 
 

4. ALL  NON WINNERS.

Leonardo - having seen its earlier runs may look to be the Best  as it has seen Classier Horses in its career. But it should also be noted that it has Failed to deliver many a time. The presence of B.Paswan is for the ODDS , there is no Rocket Science involved in determining the reason for this Jockey.If it Wins Good for the Owner / Trainer.

Stormy Affair / Devil Grandma : Both have a decent chance to Place.

Cinnamon Rose - tracking well, rest on Intentions  of the Trainer. 

( Ate Favorite , backed a Few horses for Place , none successful but Profit as Favorite Lost ) 
 

5.Silken Thomas , Fire Zone , Kyles of Bute , Flaming Lamborgini.



Red Renegade was the pace setter for Messalina in Mysore Derby , so indirectly it was sacrificed and given a DUBIOUS RUN.The Owners having some settlement thro Dancing Dynamite and Rhapsidion Snow ??


Now coming to CLASS 1 directly from terms  and carrying only 50.5 kgs , If  it WIN's it would be due to HANDICAP not on merit.

Silken Thomas  and Flaming Lamborgini are my CHOICES , bets based on race time odds.

Fire Zone came up very well in its previous outing - still get the feeling it may need a MILE.

( Backed Silken in the morning , was negative at race time , Backed Einstein for place at race time  : Both Decent bets Lost , could not eat Favorite as Odds were High , Had a Small bet on Kyles of Bute : Overall PLUS as Kyles was a LONG SHOT ) 
 

6.Enduring Speed , Carnival of Joy , Youre Chilubuli.

bad race , safe to BET for place . I do get the impression Enduring Speed will be in the TOP 2.

7. Stylish Bay , Asiaticus , Van De Star.

Edmondo at this weight does not merit a bet particularly after seeing its run in race 13.

Van De Star - previous 2 runs , blood vessels burst.Should PLACE HERE.

Stylish bay - has been held back for Long. Time to Strike ???

Hill of Grace - can hope to place.

( could not decide on the best horse  , backed Van De Star  Place : Lost ) 

Overall a GOOD day as 2 favorites which were negative bets failed and the place kainchi came thro .
