1. Prospero , City of Harmony.

Horses 123 won't be able to match strides with younger horses , hence race is restricted to 3 year old's.

Prospero has best chance to deliver , odds may be low.

City of Harmony , the only possible threat to fancied runner.

2. Amazing Venus , Old Faithful , Play It Cool.

Race for maidens , fitness levels are not known as most horses in malakpet were on a long vacation for 5 months.


3. Charlie Brown , Tinsel Town.

TWO payout event ... Horses 2.3.6 are not expect to Place.

Tinsel Town has been very consistent , conceding weight to 3 year old. If the Favorite is not fit ( going by body weight ) can oblige.

4. Magical Skill , Bharat Queen , Avenida.

Race for non winners ...

5. Amethyst , Exclusive Monarchy ,Legend.

Legend has seen better opposition , has been consistent too , however seen conceding weight , rider not the best. Can hope to Place.

Delta Force may need a mile to prove its credentials as horse is always seen at rear end of field till the last 200 metres.

Amethyst has had a run recently , well placed in handicap. Looks certain for Place .. can Win if rider shows some competence.

E M - finished 4 th , in last outing , as weights are in favour and fitness is established , a fair chance.

6. Dream Vision , George Cross , Ruby's Gift.

RG - after innumerable attempts , Won recently. First time it will seen carrying this weight. This being a sprint race , may be difficult to Win again.

George Cross has raced with better opposition , rider is extremely backward. However as field is not the best with many non jobbers has a fair chance.

DV - has a excellent record , a fair chance if Odds are in favour.


7.Rock Heights , Beauty Flash , Crown Royal.

CR is superior to the rest as evident in ratings , withdrawn in last outing when fancied to Win as On Money favorite. Over 1200 , conceding weight , with Low odds , best is to skip Win bets.

Any upset can come through first 2 named horses ONLY as rest of the field have no credentials to Win.

8. Time for Fun , Red Rambble , Happy Guy.

Woman O War , highest rated , can claim to be the best on the basis of its runs in the classics. However carrying 65.5 kgs , trainer in his wisdom has not opted for allowance rider...good luck ...

Horses 3.8.9 have least chance to even Place.

That's My Darling has failed many a time against poor opposition when Odds were Low , did well when Odds were in favour. At best a Place prospect.

9. Steyn Memories , Onk Onk Onk , Kinnera.

Dual centre racing .. a feast for punter’s hopefully.

@ Pune –

1. Cracklin Rosie ,  Cicitalia. Indus Prince

Class 4 race , horses 6 to 15 are not very reliable , hence options are restricted..

2. Good Memory , Golden Glory , Critical Strike.

Vb race over 1000 metres , most horses not familiar with this distance. Front runners will do well for obvious reasons. Difficult to assess who will hit the front amongst all Junk horses , most riders too are junk..

3. Jibuti , Allegiance , Night Fury.

Vb over mile trip , only difference being presence of top rider’s to please the bookies.

4. Persian Prince , Holy Smoke , Remember Me.

Jodi race , Holy Smoke is expected to oblige due to its impressive victories in Mumbai , is well placed at the scales too. Persian Prince gets a hard rider who can make a difference to the outcome of the race.

Remember Me can Place ahead of Ageless if Intent is noticed at race time.

5. Arabelle , Captain Courage . Nascar.

Dash for cash race in class 2 , most horses are speedy. As fitness is not in doubt for # 7 due to its summering in Blr & horse is only 3 year old in field , gets first preference.

Golden Belle is speedy but rider capability is ?? Horse may not be fit too , often Todywala horses put on lot of weight in the 5 month long break …


6. Be Bold , Point , Riot of Colors.

Worst 3 year old maiden race ever seen in rwitc.. No clue whatsoever ..

7. Stand and Dance , Cannon Ball Run , Shania.

21 in fray , random choices , as difficult to Pick even 1 certainty for Place too… One can only opt for small each way bets on any 2 of these &  hope for the best as Odds will be very high .. unlike fancied horses where investment required is high , payouts too will be low..

8. Glorious Angel , It’s a Deal , Firebolt.

Another difficult race as most horses have no form to merit a wager.

9. Orla , Captain Abdon , In My Life.

A few Horses beaten by C.Abdon are rated above 70 & this horse is still in class 4.

Orla has scope to improve upon past few efforts.

Overall Pune card is pathetic as 6/9 are low class races …upsets possible in atleast 4 of them.

Mahathi may be lowest priced horse this season. Money back is possibility…

2. City of Pearls , Telengana Queen.

Older horses can’t be backed .. Wonder Star , first ride for Jockey..
Euro Zone – stables are not very active on fancied runners..

3. Golden Angel , Exclusive Monarchy.

Ganghadhar did well in recent outing , trip seems sharp ,a also conceding weight.

4. Coral Springs , Dorian.

Junk in fray.

5. Sprint Legend , Fair & Square.

Horses 1478 are not likely to do Win. 2 & 3 are from same stable..race time pointers may be useful.

6. Barbossa , Sacrifice.

Horses 578 are there for the numbers. White Gold is not a sprinter , can only hope to Place.

7. Military Belle , Kohinoor Grace.

Horses 3.5.6.9. , may not even Place.

Rider on Symbol of Glory is very backward. Dandy Girl has form but odds may be low for comfort.

8. Rio Rojo , Accelerator.

Horses 1.7.8. may struggle for Place. Caroline Moon has a fair chance too , stable is not consistent..

9. Squanders Square , Garib Parwar.

May qualify as junk race of entire monsoon meeting.

Horses 6.7.10.1 have least chance to even finish 4 th.

Alloy has credentials to Place.

3 entries from 1 trainer , couple of horses with junk riders.
Best to skip if Odds are not good enough for a wager.

4. Country's Charm. Smart Mistral.

No class , VB race ...

5. Invincible Wish. Chandini.

Tough call , this race as there are multiple contenders. Distance suitability / Age may help the cause of above 2 horses.

6. Smart N Noble. Ananthara.

Script Writer may Win in ooty / chennai VB race.

Last outing Smart N Noble did not get a good start , rider too was pathetic in his efforts. Was seen covering ground in final stages. Over extended distance with pull in weights has a bright chance.

7. Alecia. Ice Brown.

Ice Brown was fancied in last start , due to adverse track conditions during race , horse was not in a position to do well. Looks good enough to Place here. 

Alecia - comes into contention as it is from main centre.

8. Tremendous. Dare the Don.

Micheala beat nothing of note , though it Won impressively.

Tremendous has a fair chance due to age factor. Last run to be discounted for obvious reasons.

Hi all ,

Saturday results were topsy turvy to some extent due to lack of intent from few over rated jockeys who decided to take it easy due to adverse track conditions. There is a fair chance for tracks to hold firm tomorrow , if PNR is high best to avoid 2 rider’s Suraj & Chouhan..

Choices are as follows –

1.Youresohandsome , Red Admiral.

Class 4 race but field consists of many non performers . 

Between fancied duo , Not many offsprings of Noverre do well on wet tracks , whereas Top Class may do well. If King Smile , a good horse turns out to be non jobber due to jockey factor , Woodridge can sneak in for Place.

Red Admiral may relish underfoot conditions & looks good for Place.

2. First Step , Azure Mist.

Low class VB race .. Best to avoid.

3. Southern Fantasy , Ice Glow.

Ice Glow may end up as favorite , not sure if it can Win as it has No performance to back its claim's.

SF warms up late & with a couple of suspect rider’s in fray can be relied upto to Place at least.

4. Why Should I , Blues Legend.

Horses 1.2.7 are not consistent , 4 .5 have no chance whatsoever. Super Strong is not very active..

5. Light of Magic ,  Dubai One.

Satellite is over raced , trainer just keeps giving entry in feature event of the day , without being sure of distance suitability. If it has to Win so be it .

Rest of the older horses do not appeal due to handicap / low ratings.

Light of Magic is capable of doing well , last run was with worst full time jockey in blr.

RH is known to be very speedy.  Place is confirmed , rest depends on rider capability.

Race looks quite open , opted for EM on handicap / pedigree.

Hi all ,

With racing activities resuming at all major race clubs , there is no dearth of punters hoping to make windfall gains on a daily basis , as the kind of returns offered is unlikely to be seen anywhere else. While it is but natural for every punter to hope for only successful bets , reality is different for what ever reasons.

It is fair to expect punters to realize that their fortunes are not dependent on their actions ( which is the case for successful business ) but dependent on the actions of Horse’s competing , jockey’s riding & trainer’s who are required to keep it in fit condition.

With blr season coming to a close shortly , it’s time for Horses to earn stake money for owner’s  as many of them tend to skip regular Mysore season.

A decent card of 8 events are framed for the day & analysis / choices are as follows --

1. Desert Gold , Jaguar , Pure Esteem.

Class VB , junk race , horses 45689 are there for the numbers.

Roaring Thunder has been an utter failure since the time it has been fancied leaving us with the other 3.

The Jaguar aged 8 …is known to cut a fast pace , on that count Place looks certain over this shorter trip. With a bit of luck can win..

Desert Gold is the younger horse , obviously legs are healthy , with best saddle support , capable of doing well. Rest depends on how well rider is able to judge pace ….

2.Fabulous , Golden Success , Sterling Role .

Race for maidens with a couple of failed favorites in the fray. A few are also making debut.  Can’t go by mere pedigree or track work.

Zafran was expected to do well in last outing , failed miserably with ace rider. Looks fit enough to easily Place. Payout may be low , not worth the risk.

Fabulous was short priced failed favorite , rider did not look keen to improve positions during the initial part of the race .. superior on bloodlines. Should hopefully Win.

Inter flora – last run was  commendable , can hope to Place again.

Golden Success – ran a fair 3 rd to Namid , which repeated its success later. On that line , has potential to do well. Rider is not the best ,returns may be lucrative if it succeeds.

3.Storm Ahead ,  Cherie Amour , Montenegro.

Horses 358 have least chance to even Place.

Balian may be tested over mile trip , though it comes from Winning Trainer / Jockey combination. Place payouts may be below ½ money.

Storm Ahead – failed earlier this season. Last run , rider’s handling was not upto the mark. One last chance to make amends…

Cherie Amour – was languishing in rear end of field in previous outing when fancied for Win. Has a fair chance to Place , now that the focus is on , other 3 fancied runners.

Back of Beyond – highest rated , has been a consistent performer. Rider is the best of the apprentice jockeys stationed in blr. May Place..

Exacta – 7 – 1 2 6 – 1 2 4 6 – 4 6 1

4.Bengaluru Princess , Antananarivo , Daisy Duke.

Race for maidens , not much is expected from debutants.

Failed favorite Antananarivo , is expected to oblige. But having failed twice earlier , makes no sense following it here , drawn # 11,  could hamper its progress..

B.Princess – did well earlier this season with junk kolkatta based rider.  Bred for speed , drawn 2 , that could help it make it a start to finish affair.

Daisy Duke , Fine Example , Kamaal are contenders for minor places.

Exacta – 5 6 – 5 6 8 – 5 6 8 1 – 1 3 8

5. Sea Fairey , Torch Bearer , Blazing Touch.

Feature event of the day. Horses 1 8 9 10 11 12 are ignored as none of them have recent form to go by / short of class / ridden by mediocre jockey’s.

Silver Chieftain has relocated from India’s worst racing centre .. last outing finished ahead of Be Safe .. therefore , punters will expect it to Win or atleast Place. Unlike last occasion , when rider just had to hit the front aimlessly & hope to Place , now thinking rider is expected to deliver. Breeding is quite good but lack of riding talent may lead to failure.

Flamboyance after being winless for 4 racing seasons , has Won twice this season. Looks out handicapped here & even Place looks doubtful.

Sea Fairey – concedes weight , lacks Winning form , a fair chance to make amends , rest depends on moody rider. Loses in low class centre on some good horses , shows his mettle by riding aggressively when Money is on the horse in blr.

T.Bearer – Non Winner for ages , raced in few classics , both runs this season have been good.

Exacta – 3 6 / 3 6 7 2 / 3 6 7 2 / 5 7

6. Aizaan , Escala , Racing Fire.

Limited options.

Racing Fire concedes weight , hence can only hope to Place.

Aizaan – came with sustained gallop in last furlong to beat fancied runner. Bred well , has a good rider. Goes over right distance.  Has changed stables for whatever reasons.

Escala – Won when least expected .. trainer’s horses are very very inconsistent.

Blue Blazer – Won impressively despite being ridden by Jockey without Whip . May Place.

7.  Export Quality , Imperial Verse , Khaleesi.

Handicap race , but most of the younger horses are maiden’s. 6/11 riders are pure junk.  Obviously support will be for horses ridden by AS and SN only , even if the horses don’t deserve merit as handling decides fortunes in many races.

8. Wonder Woman , Pallas , Strong Conviction


Another low class race , but dominated by 3 year old’s .

Pallas is seen conceding weight to same age group horses. But with withdrawl of Interprif Warrior ..odds may be low. Place Odds on WW may be higher ..

Picks for the day are..

Favorite Sweet March may run below 50/100 going by its past performance.

Hence this race is best avoided unless Horse weight is negative for Fancied runner.

Commanding Boy is speedy but conceding weight & first run after long break. Win looks doubtful.

3. Shandaar. Patron Saint.

Open looking race.

4. Green Memories. Ruby's Gift.

Race for non winners.. quality of saddle support decides outcome.

5. Tinsel Town. Eternal Gift.

Expect a upset here as fancied runners does not appeal.

6. Surprise Party. City of Wonders.

Gorgeous Lady won well on debut..facing experienced horses here. Can win but @ low odds ..no point considering.

First day , best to go SLOW as All Horses are racing after 5 months. Fitness can be known only by RACE TIME by the Horse weight.

Any Shortlisted horse with substantial Increase / Decrease in weight can be Ignored.

Advisable to avoid Low Priced Favorites for obvious reasons.
Some horses are seen running over short distance , they CAN come from way off the pace if Front Runners tire out.

Winter season performance can't be taken at face value at Hyd as often many Horses tend to do well ONLY on Monsoon Tracks...

Recent Winner's are both conceding weight & hence ignored.

Catos Call has worst rider but on handicap looks good as other runners are backward.

Green Meadows is poorly bred horse..Malkia has no recent form to back its claims.

Class vb race...

4. Chandini. Alecia. Winged King.

Competitive race..hoping for 2/3 to Place. Queen is capable of doing well if intent noticed at race time.

Horses 1 & 2  are out handicapped..impossible to fare well at this weight. Miss International is repair case with junk rider.

3 year old has to be given preference for whatever reasons.

1. Tic Tac Toe , Sonic Star.

Class VB race...

Fotogenic has the advantage of age / rider / handicap ,facing horses which are forever in vb . Fair chance.

Tic Tac Toe has better saddle support compared to past few meetings & can do well. Repair case..

Sonic Star did well in previous season. Considering the fact that horses 478 are pure junk , no harm in opting for a each way bet & hope for the best.

2. Candice , Reformer.

Candice has a fair chance based on its effort in last outing. However multiple entries from fraudulent trainer's is a cause for worry , race time odds may give a pointer to its chances.

3. Turf Tactics , Burnished Gold.

Limited options as Horses 1 & 6 have no current form to back their claims.

Saptajit has beaten some good horses in Winter ,comes from stables where inconsistency is the norm.

Last 2 runs of TT was against superior horses , saddle support was not the best.Since it is bred to stay , can get the better of inexperienced Burnished Gold.

4. Industrialist , Zafrina.

Papadokia has been given too many chances. Low class trainer / jockey. Can't be expected to Win here.

Industrialist has been made to run over various distances , a front runner , tires out in final stages. Now that trip is ideal , can hope to make it Pillar to Post.

Zafrina is the better horse , odds may be low for comfort , may need more galloping distance to show out.

5. German Guide , Expert.

Bonfire is ridden by hopeless jockey , may not even Place.

Feliciana did well in last outing , being a No Whip race , difficult to assess its chances as Jockey A Sandesh is seen on many fancied horses. Every Sunday is not the same , atleast in racing. With big race ahead , obvious he wont extent himself.

Down Town Abbey is always seen covering ground in last furlong. On that count can be expected to do well.

Hillsboro is aged & ideal trip is 1200 , however it has best possible saddle support & front running tactics can enable a Place spot.

Expert  has Won earlier this season , as always Race time Intent / Odds will help in decision making as Horses are not allowed to run on merit in by fraudulent trainer's.

7. I 've Got Clout , Secret Prayer , Miss Adler.

Native Elements has reached its peak.

Mariko may be sacrificed if Secret Prayer is given the Nod.In any case Mariko with this rider is best ignored.

Miss Adler - has a fair chance no doubt on its merit.. but ignored as it is sparingly raced & Odds may not be in favour.

I've Got Clout - has seen better days since making debut. Has failed maximum number of times , mainly due to poor judgement by jockeys . Looks good here.

Life Awaits - Trainer's horses tend to do well when least fancied for obvious reasons..

8. Afore , Shining Magic.

No Whip race.

Afore is speedy & last run was forward. Has weights in favour. Should ideally place , can Win.

Shining Magic failed against Honor last week , has a good chance to Place here as Top Jockeys will not have services of Whip .

Aryton - did well with mediocre rider in previous outing. Should hopefully PLace.

Exacta - 9 11 / 9 11 4 6 / 9 11 4 6 / 8 10.

9. Rare & Bold , Sands of Time .

Speedy Rare & Bold faces modest opposition here. With weights in favour should be the horse to beat.

Sands of Time has poor saddle support , can sneak in for Place.

Hi all ,

There are days when picking probable Winners is easy as was the case last week.

And there are days when it is difficult to pick Probable Contenders , which may be the case this week end . Such is racing ...where high quality horses are in fray ...one can pick the best on merit , punters can decide either way ...if Odds are low at race time. When low quality races are scheduled , picking best does not arise. Logically it follows ..Wagering should be done based on Higher Odds  … 

Analysis & choices are as follows –

1.Shoot Out , Mystic Lavenders , Interactive.

Why look for merit when there is NONE. Class VB race , presence of best jockeys are more to keep counters ticking.

2. Surnaturel , Exemplar , Powerscourt.

It would be foolish to consider Horses 3.4.5.7.10.11.12 even for Place.

Obvious choices for most would be the above 3 due to Age / Quality of saddle support.

Powerscourt has raced with better horses but a Winner at low class mysore centre. Conceding weight to other horses in same age group may not be easy. Best to keep away due to Odds.

Shivalik Dance is seen after a long layoff , fitness is always in doubt in these cases. One has to look for Horse weight at race time & decide , in any case Win would not be possible.

3. White Snow Drops , Flying Bullet ,  Crazy Pineapple.

Class VB , mere presence of top jockeys does not fetch results as Horses are JUNK. Most of the horses in VB races are known for inconsistency.. so results can be topsy turvy.

4. Shideh , Conquisdator , King of the Court

Hostess had poor saddle support in last outing , however rider was in front & that helped it finish 2 nd . With a thinking rider , chances of Winning seem bleak as tactics don’t work often , not only weights but presence of many good horses in fray are a pointer to its failure. 

Shideh – last run was ridden by a mediocre rider fit only for Hyd races. Earlier to that due to poor weather / track conditions , intent was lacking. A fair chance here as horse is well bred & forms part of the younger lot in fray.

King of the Court – presence of ace rider may fetch a Place spot.

Conquistador – runs at attractive handicap , a good start should help it find a Place in top 3. Upset if any…

5. Super Success , Ravello , New Emperor.

C.Key , penalty for runaway Win is a whopping 22 points. It would be a herculean task to justify the ratings & low odds. There is a possibility of not finishing in Place money too , if the pace sent by no hopers is quite fast.

Ravello is speedy , first run in blr  showed potential. With better saddle support , looks good for Place.

Sir Majestic was also an impressive Winner after losing to 2 low class horses earlier this season. Can’t expect it to Win here , may at best Place.

From the rest New Emperor is known to cut a fast Pace , if intent is visible worth backing for Place.

6. Cadillac Sky  , Atlantis , Flotus.

Younger horses have to be fancied for obvious reasons. But none of them have won a race till date.

Quality of saddle support is poor for most of the horses in fray. Ultimately they decide outcome of the event.

Cadillac Sky has competed with better horses since making debut , as evident in ratings of the Horses it lost to... Trainer trying it over various distances for whatever reasons. Sprint race , top handicap , not going to be easy but worth taking a chance due to odds factor.

Flotus – has best credentials on handicap , form line is not very impressive.

Legal Legacy is fit for 1100 metres , can hope to Place .

7. Admiral One , Scion , Grecian Light.

Race for maidens , horses 1.3.4.8.9.10.11 are hopeless.

Rustler comes from third rate racing centre. Trainer is pure junk & pedigree of horse is backward. Can’t see it doing well in prime racing centre unless a few fancied runners are withdrawn.

Admiral One is best in fray on breeding , latest tracks are impressive. Should easily Place , can Win.

Scion – debutant , first priority is to take a good jump from the gates. On preparation & pedigree looks good …

8. Royal Defense , Good Will Warrior , Tea With Me.

Horses 1.2.7.10.11 are no hopers.

Cannes / Kimora are out handicapped here , one of them could at best finish 3 rd.

Tea With Me has Winning form + best apprentice rider. Can Place .

Royal Defense , last run was facing younger horses , hence the poor show. Earlier lost as fav to Cannes. Can make amends ..

Choices for the day...

1. New Sunrise. Green Emerald.

Junk race.. as evident in ratings.

New Sunrise is slow starter .. if it takes level jump..should be the horse to beat.

Green Emerald ..rider is for the odds..horse has raced with better opposition. Capable of going well.

Felix Legion ..trainer's record very poor. Could at best place.


2. Silent Trust. Generous Gesture.

Older horses can't be backed with confidence..hence opted for 4 year old's.

3. As Good As Gold . Ice Splendour.

Trainer Rakesh has 3 entries..had lucrative double on wednesday. Not sure which of his horses will be tried.

From the rest..above 2 appeal due to consistency ..handicap..quality of saddle support.

Dark Williams.. punter's wagering on Darashah horses are still in the Dark.Top handicap , lot of front running horses , weight may take a toll.

4. Passing Fancy. Excelonce.

Tremendous beat Speed Queen which is a junk horse.Difficult to concede weight & beat seasoned horses with decent saddle support.

Excelonce runs over right trip now. Could place.

Passing Fancy.. tidy handicap. Rider does extremely well when riding for Trainer Bobby. Last run was good.

5. Avocet. Dyna.

Shivalik Story if fit would be racing in pune ..not shifted to B class centre. 95 % of horses under care of Darashah are repair cases. Most of them unable to do well even in mys.

Excelerate.  Has Winning form facing experienced field here unlike earlier occassions. Has age / handicap in favour. Win is not a formality.

6. Drops of Jupiter. Pacquaio.

Only Winner is highly rated & conceding weight. As form of rest are not confirmed..a fair chance despite poor pedigree.

Saigar - last run was forward. Positive equipment noticed. May place.. stable is quite dubious.

Last outing debutant Sardina is tracking well.. at best Place prospect as it finished vert far behind Winner.

2. Country's Angel. Cicida. Chrome

Race for maidens.. pedigree in mysore is not relevant . 

Consistent C Angel does have a fair chance to succeed.

Due to multiple entries ..one can't wager on fancied runners of trainer Monappa.

Chrome /  Micheala are contenders for Place.



3.Ayahuasca.Ora Plata.Zicci.

But for rider ...Ayahuasca looks good. At longer Odds worth a wager each way.

Ora Plata after many dubious runs looks fit. Has seen better days.

5. Ole. Script Writer. Star Struck.

Fancied runner is maiden..at low odds not worth a punt..

Star Struck can sneak in for Place despite poor saddle support.

Ole.. relocated from blr. Hence has seen better opposition. Rider is extremely backward. A good jump will aid its cause.

Murcilago won when leadt expected. Is now conceding weight to rest of field. Win looks doubtful.

So Fast ..last run was fair though it lost..small made horse ..capable of improvement.

Fink...jockey capability is ?? Has formidable record to go by. Multiple entries from Trainer.

Between Daylite & New World..latter capable of reversing position of previous outing.

Can't do justice to analysis due to low Odds offered on favorites in 7/9 races.     Jockey Sandesh has several engagements.. bookies are being very clever by listing 5- 6 of his rides as favorites..  foolish to expect him to Win .. 6 of 7 mounts.  But for the Derby ..not sure of intent in other races..

Formality has to be completed..so here goes.

Each one has to decide if Odds merit a bet. I have shortlisted on merit. First 2 named for Win or Each Way... depending on Odds...last named only for Place...

9 th June Blr Races..

Hi all ,

Derby week end card looks quite healthy & competitive for a change.

Analysis of the races & choices are as follows –

1.Shining Armor , Lightning Attack ,  Nazailla.

Class 4 race , dominated by 3 year old’s who have done nothing till date... Most finishing double distance behind Winner in past outings. Going by the relative opposition faced , Shining Armor does have a fair chance due to presence of the best apprentice jockey @ this centre. Getting weight is a big advantage too.However only issue to be addressed is fitness as horse is seen after a long break.

L.Attack, one of the 3 year old’s in the fray who ran a fair
5 th on debut , subsequent runs with dud jockeys over extended distance was on expected lines. Now that a decent rider is seen & horses competing have no known form to go by , can surprise.

Roaring Thunder is best left alone as fancied runner as neither pedigree is good nor previous runs .

Bharat Queen is ridden by junk rider.

2.( Honor , Frizbee ) J. Gatsby.

Horses 5.6.7.9 are pure junk , no idea why they are being raced often. Even if ratings are reduced to Zero , may be difficult for them to Win.

J.Gatsby –  has credible winter form to go by , but has since changed stables & ownership for whatever reasons. Rider is capable... yet does not get mounts often. May Place.

Frizbee – rider capability to be factored as Jockey’s statistics is not very impressive. On merit & handicap should Place easily.. anything above is bonus.

Vicious Circle – dubious trainer / owner. Not sure what is in store here as a fancied runner.

3. Above The Rest , Spiritual Act , Sea Dove.

Class VB , no logic for these choices , just that Younger horses have scope to improve & do well .

4. { Ashwa Raftar , Shield of Achilles  } Justice Angel.

Horses 4.5.6.8 are running without hope.

Say You Say Me is facing tough bunch here compared to previous outing. Rogue Trainer has 3 entries , hopefully all 3 should not Place.

Top Striker – did extremely well in previous season , with shift in stables , horse is not very active. Has competed with better horses. Could Place if FIT.

Justice Angel – too much of hype , not translated in the tracks.  Trainer back after suspension. Not sure if his special diet can work wonders. As a favorite , I would keep away.

A.Raftar – faced very speedy opposition in last outing. Runs over ideal trip. Is conceding weight , but has fair credentials to Place. Rest depends on luck of the race , has to beat Improved SOA.

SOA – This run looks too soon for comfort , trainer deciding to encash due to the impressive victory recently. Bloodlines are quite superior compared to rest.

5. In the Sunrise , Alexandrite , Southern Fantasy.

Horses 1.2.3.9 have ZERO chance to even finish 3 rd. That much is certain.

Thomas More is also junk horse in age category. As it is facing older horses may just about hold on to Place.

Stevalena , jockey is mediocre , record outside home centre reveals true character of Kol racing. Bloodlines of horse does suggest it can Place .

Alexandrite – last outing ace jockey gave a horrendous ride , despicable by racing standards. Kept horse in last position till home bend , made efforts after Winner was sighted.  Looks good over mile trip to easily Place.

Avant Garde – has seen better class in western india , competed in classics. Racing after a very long break. May place due to default as many horses in fray are junk.

In the Sunrise – shortest priced Winner this season in class 4 , can repeat as handicap is in favour , lack of experience  only cause for concern. In any case at Low Odds how many wagered in previous outing or will bet now.... if it is below Even Money.

6. Satellite , Mickey Mouse , Bold Command.

Horses rated below 90 are best ignored. They neither have experience nor class to beat highly rated horses.

Machiavellianism loses out due to presence of rider. Invincible Prince may have won a race this season but will be out of depth here.

Doped horse ..Starlet is expected to do well due to weights / age. Jockey’s  current form is very poor , odds don’t justify bet.

Bold Command , last run was @ chennai , rider declared is very poor. His last 3 Wins were at longer odds , no harm betting on those horses , as there is scope to hedge the bet & investment is low. As a fancied runner , makes little sense to bet now , particularly due to LONG absence. Whether it wins or not is not relevant.

Satellite – Owner colors may be prominent over week end. Runs over right distance , has weights in favour. Place is certain. Can Win.

7. Serena Ballerina , Adulation , Tororosso.

8 horses in fray of which 1.4.5 may compete for bottom 3.

Limited options from the rest of the runners.

8. Balian , Babushka , Rapid Advance.

Horses 2.6.8 have no chance for whatever reasons.

Able Master has low weights , can hope to Place.

Babushka ,last outing was low priced Winner , post penalty not going to be easy. Avoidable due to Odds / handicap.

Rapid Advance , running quite often , a Place prospect.

Golden Diamond – may fund the bookies.

Analysis & choices are as follows –

1.Kamaal , Shield of Achilles , High Voltage.

Race for maidens , none outstanding on track. Pedigree , Saddle support & experience of racing are criteria to shortlist.

First named looks good enough to Place , could upset.

Fancied runner was ambitiously tried in Ooty classic , was at rear end of field right from the start. With a modest bunch to tackle , can Win but Odds are not in favour.

2.  Hidden Deal , Tree Lounge , Active Grey.

But for the Trainer of Tree Lounge , rest are all dubious characters. Multiple entries ,  frequent racing , using mediocre riders are the hallmarks of these charlatans. But for horses 4.7.8 anyone else can succeed if ridden well.

3. Sudha , Goat , Intensive Act.

Vb , best not commented.

4. Splendid Splasher , Sheryl , Proserpine.

Race for 3 year old’s in fray.

Blue Blazer beat nothing of note , conceding weight. Poorly bred , hence ignored for Win.

Sheryl , short priced Winner , has a fair chance due to pedigree factor. Last run was a gift as rest of field were least interested in early positioning. Can hope to Place.

Prosperpine – good horse , capable of winning. Trainer & Jockey were in limelight on Saturday. At low odds not worth a wager.

Times Time – rider is absolutely pathetic.

5.Azzuro , Desert God , Triumphus.

D G will be offered at Low Odds. Jockey seems to ride only for trainer Padmanabhan. Winning at Low odds , which normal punters can’t consider. On other mounts , makes an effort to keep horse at wrong end of the field , unlike his known style of jumping out well & keeping a forward position.

Azzuro – was seen covering lots of ground in last outing. Based on that , fair chance to Place.

6. Striking View , New Prince , Country’s Crown.

Dicey race , limited options.

7. Happy Hours , Tea With Me , Perfect King.

Junk of blr trainers combined with mediocre local / Mumbai jockeys.
Low class race.

8. Girl With Pearl  , Snow Crystal , Sherwood.

Race for maidens , hoping that a couple of them finish in top 3.
