# 1 is the best horse since it has races in class 4 regularly. But carries 62.50 kgs. Hence ignored. Rest are all junk mediocre horses which tend to do well if injected on the day if races.😀

2. Spectacular.  Ferreti.

Only 6 in fray of which  3 are no hopers.  Dividend may not be attractive to bet. Win or lose , does not matter.

3. NRI Touch.  Armanent.

4. Serai. Janerio 

5. Only three on fray of which 2 are from same trainer. Free stake money for all 3 horses.

6. Maybury . Perfect Justice.

7. Heroism.  Dynamic Force

Races 2 & 5 are not worth wagering.

Rest 5 races are so wide open that any of the horses in the fray can win.

Can punters bet confidently in 5 races & win , doubtful 

Can bookies win , no doubts😐

Racing activity resumes after 3 & 1/2 months. No clue of how fit the horses are.  Bookies have ensured that few top riders are seen in action for their own benefit. As always punters have expectations of free quick money 😀

Another low class races.

3. Dona Sienna.  Hermes.

Age restricted race.  May be tough to concede weight.

Trainers could have given 1 more entry but when instructions are from bookies , highest class races has 2 payouts.  1 junk trainer has  2 entries.

1.   Classy Dame - Exponent.

Field of low grade  inconsistent horses . One of the horses from MAM stables can shine.

2. MikiMoto. Torch Bearer.

Big field , maidens. Tough to pick as run of the race with draw # may decide outcome .

3. Garnet. Gretsy.

Garnet is known to be speedy and goes over pet distance.  Fair chance.

Gretsy rider merit and odds to be factored.

Younger horse #8 may find the pace thought to handle.

4. Barbet. Mark my Day.

Looks like an open event.

5. Clefairy.  Coming Home.

Dicey race.

6. True Ikon. D Minchi.

# 5 is a reject from blr. Not sure if it can adjust to monsoon track

7. Voice of a Dream. Exclusive Spark.

Mile trip , experienced horses given preference. 

8. Ashwa Morocco. Malaala.

Feature event. Multiple contenders. 

Horse which races in classics # 2 concedes weight. Not worth a bet due to odds.

1. Classic race for best pedigree horses. Half the field from 1 dubious notorious trainer .One can only guess & bet as there is no horses of merit in vb races. Obvious 3 will pay dividend. Which 3 is the ??

2. Race restricted to 3 year olds. 

Hence only 4 horses in fray.  Place odds on fancied runners will not be worth a wager . Winner tough to pick amongst the 4.

3. Another classic race where 5/11 are from NL. Your guess is as good as mine. Best is to Roll 🎲 pick the number displayed & punt a small amount. 

4. Race for 3 year old maidens. 

Timeless Vision. Flashman.

If win odds are low best to skip.

5. Miss American Pie. Ataash.

Many are running over wrong trip. 

#1 is ridden by mediocre rider. 

6. Maratha Admiral.  Cache.

Another maiden race.  Fitness is key not pedigree & rider declared.

7. Fontana. Star Prosperity.

Big field , many junk riders.   Rated below 49 have no realistic chance of even coming in top 3.

8. Remy Red. Attained.

Tough race in class 4.

Overall a day where most races are for horses in lowest class - maidens. Post race one can always find logic on horses that have done well. 

Prior to race judgement may go wrong by misleading odds ..

Saturday races

 

1. Maidens race. Suprising to see all top Jockeys of the country engaged except # 8😐

Not sure what to expect .  Go by form or rider . Messy affair. Tough to decide particularly due to lack of recent form - debutants

2. Sunlit Path.  Alacero.

Genuine class 1 race with top pedigree & best trainers.  😐

3. Don Carlos. Complete Package.

Looks quite open given that it is a maidens race.  # 9 is not a Certainty.

4. Bharat.  Forest Fragrance.

Hopefully winner from this pair. 

5. King Louis. West Brook.

Top rated is obviously the best. Not sure if the odds justify a win bet.

6. Bourbonaire.  La Mcqueen.

Those rated below 36 have no realistic chance of even finishing in top 3

7. Memorable Time. Lauterbrunnen.

Form fluctuation is evident in most runners.

Large fields , dubious trainers , mediocre riders. All reasons to play safe. Small bets reasonable dividends instead of big amount on low odds as there is no certainty in mys races , except for bookmakers are always happy to open their stalls 🙂 to service the punters. Factor in jockey capabilities & odds before you consider the following choices.

Pune races Day 1

 

Long card on opening day at the centre known as the graveyard of favorites 😟. Hence do think twice before wagering at low odds. Low profile trainers tend to do well here as they give " runs " at Mumbai to reduce handicap. 

Racing commences after 4 months. Fitness is key.  Lot of low class events which can be skipped for obvious reasons.

Front runners usually have a say over sprint distances. 

My choices are -

*MYSORE RACES CANCELLED Due to the incessant rainfall and inclement weather rendering the underfoot condition of the race-track non-conducive for racing*

Random picks for obvious reasons. More book makers & dubious trainers stalls in Mysore than in other centres. Can see many running over wrong distances but that is irrelevant in mys.  Just like Equipment on horses. Deliberately put A shoes to lose & do well on S shoes.

Lot of low class races with mediocre riders. Do not consider any of these if Fancied for Win below 2.5 - Place below 1.00. 

Factor in the capabilities of Jockey as many juvenile riders are in fray.

There was so much excitement amongst punters after hearing news of resumption of racing. Not sure how many were in the same mood after day 1 as only 1 firm favorite seems to have  obliged going thro the dividends declared. The only real winners were the bookmakers 😐. The perils of following favorites continues.

Sunday could be kind going by race card.

Maidens , Only 7 in fray. Keep safe.

2. Lauterbrunnen.  Spirit Dancer.

Low class event with fluctuations in form.

3. Bharat. Galahad. 

Very competitive event.

Starkova concedes weight , not sure if This rider can deliver as he usually is seen doing duty at low weight.

4. Remontoir.  Star Admiral.

But for bottom 3 , rest are all in with a chance.

5. Jersey King. Invincible.

Probably low odds favorite as many are lowly rated with poor credentials

Both are good.  Rest depends on race fitness and odds.

Maidens. Pedigree points to these 2.

8. Santorius. Storm Shadow.

Maidens.  

West Lake could surprise.

Top 2 rated are obviously good but conceding weight over a sprint trip. May or May not.

Long card , racing resumes after a very very long break. Fitness is always in doubt. Many events are in low class.  Keeping away from short priced favorites may be the best option under the circumstances. Also Jockey declaration may be made with ulterior motives .
