These are my choices..

1. Masquerade. Finest Moment.

Gdansk won in lower class beating nothing of note..can stay the trip. Rider form is pathetic.

His Masters Vice ran 2nd to Raees which is now rated 100+. But long absence from race tracks..doubts on its fitness.

Masqerade will carry over weight on account of rider ..last run was suggestive. Can stay trip.. Rest depends on rider.

2. Mekong Delta. Raees.

Horses 567 are unlikely to find a place in top 2.  Congressional is superior but age / weight may hamper its chances.

Supreme General had a suggestive run earlier..better rider seen here..but horse has let down often. May run at low odds ? Trevor has worst possible record in recent times.

Raees is a stayer par excellence..may find trip short ..can place if any of fancied runners is unable to oblige.

Mekong Delta - chance bet.

Limited options due to age factor. First named looks good.

Accidents can happen..past 3 meetings fancied Horses ridden by Sandesh. Alford. Trevor have brought ruin on Punters who back these low priced favorites assuming it is free money.

Another Junk sort of race , rider on GE is # 1 junk in country , may have won 1 race in 300+ rides.  Rest are no better. Small bet / higher returns for those ready to take risk.

Speed of Sound / Name of the Game are also good enough. Opting for horses which can Upset or Place at Decent odds.

Half the field is running over wrong distance , a few were racing over 1600 / 2000 metres , now  seen over sprint. All bogus runs , few have no form / repair cases. Under the circumstances , nothing certain Including Favorite D.Nine.

As per media reports.. Club and Govt has lost more than 50 crores ..all over india..this figure may be 65+ crores.. While the club and others can cry about losses and make an issue about it..

Time PUNTERS realised that 65+ crores was the money which punters would have foregone.... as all these Amounts are funded by Tote ..in a way punters as a whole ..can rejoice as they have Saved 65+ crores in past 2 months..  What a massive amount..shelling out nearly 35% of race collections for every event.. Some relief in the end..

Even today..these rotten scoundrels be it the club or media or owners or Trainers are talking of losses and hardships... All self centered pigs...never cared for the punters.. who funded them for ages.. Now speaking of misery etc.. Did anyone even raise a voice when GST was hiked to 28%.. None did as they did not pay from their pockets..punters paid for it..all these rogues were happily enjoying on our Money ..

Lets hope Racing resumes ONLY after GST is brought down to 12%..even then punters will be losers but the margin of loss will be fair and punters won't mind it for the welfare of the nation and racing industry..

Now that it is certain that proposal to induct 50 Govt Nominees to the club will fail ..time for all stake holders to look forward and plan for uncertain future..which probably is planning for Demise .

While the Members are being blamed for this by various sections of media ....government officials ..
....owners.. breeders... punters ..from the standpoint of club..members are entirely justified in refusing government proposal..which in any case did not have clarity and looked like a fund raising exercise for the party in power..by Offering membership at low price to a few known ppl..and collect 25-30 lacs from them for party coffers. Entirely possible as every govt decision these days is made only for the purpose of getting a fixed sum as commission...why should any govt be intetested in racing club membership..are they elected to govern state and provide facilities to citizens or pamper a few people who are close to those in power..

Even today if BTC is asked to increase members to 450 ..they will do so as long as additional membership is Open to everyone and fresh entrants pay up 15-20 lacs as fees. Why should any govt decide who should be the Members or Fee amount.. Will CM accept demands of public and change portfolio of ministers..

These days getting any club membership is a long drawn process and takes 5-10 years ..with high entry costs...when such is the case instant membership for a few smacks of VVIP culture... With identity of 50 Govt nominees not being known..additional cause for discomfort ..at a later stage the 50 will vote enbloc against all resolutions by the club on orders of the Masters..for commercial reasons.. if club has to DIE let it happen now ..why run it for few more months & let corrupt politicians decide future.

Each stake holders is selfish..it is their right..but none can claim honesty..

Impotent breeders who claimed all along that racing happens only due to them are now pleading with BTC members ..only because they will be affected in a big way ...none of the other clubs can suddenly provide stables for horses which would have otherwise raced in BTC..if Breeders are told to sell their produce at Maximum price of Rs 10 lacs..will they agree..never.. so how can they advise Btc to accept Govt demands .. none of these millionaires made efforts to help Club contract employees till date..why the sudden affection ..

Owners and trainers based in blr..kept quiet for 3 months as stakes were earned with minimum effort in Mysore..none bothered about Tote Staff / daily wage Club employees affected ..now that there is no racing..they rush in trying to  support Govt demands ...as if they are the deciding authority..if Trainers are told to keep BTF at Rs 10000 per horse across India.. will they agree...Never.. how can they interfere in club matters.. Most of the so called owners are benAmi.. Trainers dope horses or make them unfit ..to earn in big way..on instructions from owners or bookies.. And they are preaching to Club members today..

If Owners are told to distribute 40% of Stake money earned... to Trainers / Jockeys.. will they agree...no chance....how many times owners / trainers went on strike on opening day / derby day to ensure club accepted their demands.. they too are a bunch of rogues out to swindle everyone.. why try to act honest now..

Every person in the racing industry is self centered and look for own interest... When GST was introduced and Tote Tax increased ..none of them cared for punters.. the govt has reduced rates on 200+  items in recent past.. did not come across any news about representation to Govt to reduce taxes based on falling tote collections...breeders ..owners ..trainers ...club .. all happy as  Punters were ready to pay tax 28 % + club commission ..which funded their existence ..where as many punters died by these high taxes.

Without punters at Races ..none of the clubs can survive..that is reality.. punter pays for rest of the stake holders..betting on totes funds everyone . If btc turnover was 2000 crores ..average 13% deductions 260 crores was sacrificed by punters for sake of racing industry..a few punters bet 50k per race ..a few 100's per race.  Even assuming 5k per day over 200 race days.. 10 lacs Turnover per punter ..and each of them paid up 1.30 lacs.. I doubt any member or owner or trainer pays up so much .. ..yet punters are neglected ..no decent facility offered in the club..  rwitc was charging punters 6k for carrying a mobile to race ..unimaginable..which dumb punter will pay 6k per day ..when average betting amount is less than 10k per day..the rogues who decided on these were freely communicating with illegal bookies ..stay in 5 star hotel.. travel in executive class ..partying..entire club is  funded by punters..with nil contribution these swines are deciding on various matters including night racing.. One former chairman thanked bookies after demonetisation..what a pimp he was ..not speaking to govt to reduce taxes for 10 years.. Thanks few bookies..

The racing media being paid to carry favourable news about industry has failed in its task..not surprising as they depend on few breeders / owners for survival ...no bad news reported against Mallya in one site.. other site no unpleasant reporting  on a few people like poonawala ..padmanabhan... The media pimps have all the time to preach to club members..but kept quiet when various malpractices were done in various clubs...

Both racing sites owe their survival on btc.. if there is no racing... paid membership reduces ...tips from friendly trainers and owners on blr races would fetch decent income all these days..that too will stop. One fugitive owner is abroad..website will be sold shortly.

Race clubs were partly funding their fixed expenses with revenues generated on btc races held twice a week.. with 7-8 days per month going waste ...even 3-4 lacs generated will not accrue...not easy to survive..conducting extra races is ruled out as all clubs lose money on Live racing..earn only on Off course betting.

In a way ...No betting at btc...has benefited only few blr based Punters.. ..No betting means No Losses..forced savings .. outstation punters don't get to bet on blr races..guess some of them will be happy with the developments..Indian racing  punter wherever located is Loser as upto 35% of money wagered on every race is deducted upfront  and only balance distributed as dividend. Post GST ..a look at dividends reflect reality of tote betting...

This issue of btc license may be resolved only after elections ..if a new CM is at the helm of affairs.. going to court may look easy ..costly affair..could get license ..but day to day operations without govt support is a tough task for Racing Clubs..

BullDozer having raced in Western India is definitely superior but a bit aged compared to contenders in fray ... May Place.

Volantis - on its first run in Kol.. lost to younger Danceress conceding weight.. Should be able to reverse its standings today.

Former is on Winning spree ..but racing a bit too often for comfort.

Two entries from MKJ. Monte Graco and Golden Eclipse. One of them has bright chance to Place.

Most horses in fray ..have failed whenever fancied..a few won when pitted against junk horses.

8. Princess P . Sporto.

Out of 8 races.. Neeraj Rawal has accepted 7 rides and 6 of them will be fancied..being in top 3 favorites...only a Swine will accept it knowingly .. That too 4 long distance rides..how can any sane person do justice... most punters will end up betting atleast 5 of these horses ... All i can hope is that he gets injured in first race..such that punters are saved from his dubious rides..

Only reason to select Temerity is horse has Won classic..but there is every possibility of rider getting tired after earlier engagements. As  Favorite ..not sure how many will bet for Win.

Themis too being youngest with weight advantage ..having raced in classics..better bunch... too can Win.. Short priced favorites carry more risk...
