Hyd races sunday

 

Opening day , lot of favorites with sound credentials  obliged.  2nd day form lines are not suggestive.  Horse weight to be factored as first day lots of horses were seen to have put on 15+ kg . Most finished nowhere despite prior form & decent tracks.

1.  Race for maidens.  A few did well in Winter season. Couple of promising debutants based on pedigree.  Luck of the draw may play a part deciding the final outcome.

Obvious Zeus & Keystone will be fancied.

Galwan & Inside Story are capable of doing well having raced in superior company previously.

Jean Lafette is entrusted to Junk rider.  Jockey may place in 1-2 out of 30 rides. Unless odds are Very good , tough to bet.

2. All Time Legend. Catalina.

ATL was impressive on debut. Has fair chance.

Horses 456 are contenders for place. One of them could win if the favorite has put on weight thereby unfit case.

3. The Prospect. Mandala Bay.

Tough to consider aged horses for WIN.  These are the only 3 year old's competing. 

4. 

This is the classic VB junk race in hyd where upsets are the norm. 

Battle Ready has raced with superior horses & is lucky to face mediocre opposition. May run at low odds & that is risky betting proposition in junk races. Win or Lose is different but not worth a bet.

Rest are all Junk. Air Salute must be lowest weight horse in country . Often loses steam in last furlong.

Alluri's Pride can do well despite top weight.

5. Smashing Blue. Prince Valiant 

Corfu Castle needs a strong rider & considering relative handicap tough to consider.

SB - despite low rating , has best chance due to pull in weights. Youngest horse in fray. Can win. But if low odds , best to skip.

A few are running over sprint after long time. May not have much of an impact as forst run after break sprinters may tire down giving scope for mid distance runners to perform well. 

Lightning Bolt has a fair chance to Win.

6. Horse O War. Grand Finale.

Lamha & Lorena won low class events . 

Best Buddy won unexpectedly in Chennai . Penalised -  conceding weight - looks tough.

7.  Another Junk race.

Sacred Lamp. Due Diligence.  Let it Be Me.  Seem best of Worst.

Hyderabad race selections

 

Racing resumes after a very long break . Large fields noticed in almost all races. Fitness can only be ascertained based on body weight . Recent track work may not help much.  One can't go by past record too as Winter track form may not hold good on Monsoon tracks . 

The easiest way out for peti punters is to back all favorites or those ridden by Top Jockeys. . Invariably they will return with empty pockets for obvious reasons . Even 2 favorites winning may not offset losses in other races due to low odds. Predominantly only online betting is allowed during initial days . PlayHyd / BetIndiaraces being the choices. Betting based on movement in bookie odds or online Tote Odds may not help on first day. So it would be foolish to on favorites for WIN

Online betting payouts are very very low for first 2 favorites due to low collections & high taxes. Even place payouts is pathetic . Where One feels that horse can only place not WIN , ideally consider betting both SHP & THP 50 % each . Yield may be higher than place. 

From whatever I can make out , horses shortlisted below are capable of doing well. If place odds are decent do consider for Each way or only Place.
