Monday matches - Chile - 6 Brazil - .55draw - 3.5Brazil are favorites to Win the tournament as evident in the CUP betting odds.Chile has shown some fighting qualities in all its earlier matches. Brazil was not very convincing in its last match against Portugal and that gives hopes to CHILE .At .55 , the odds are not even worth considering . One can always have a negative bet and reverse the same as the match progresses as the ODDS keep going up if Goals are not scored. However if Brazil goes ahead early in the match then the odds will go down below .10. Alternatively a draw bet can be initiated initially and hopefully if the scores are level at the break the ODDS would come down to EVENS at the break.Slovakia - 8.5Netherlands - .48Draw - 3.10Slovakia may have upset a few fancied teams in the group matches but meet the imposing Netherlands in the knock out stage . We are in June not April , yet the punters at the races are always taken for a ride literally by the bookies and their associates be it the Owner / Trainer / Jockey,
At the end of the day the punter is the one is the FOOL who always complains after backing the fancied horses at race time .
Lets analyse the racing action on Sunday -
1. Opening odds ( which is quoted by the Bookies , 2 hours prior to race time ) on
Legend Reborn was 2 to 1 and Saratoga 3 to 1 .
Did they deserve to be quoted at that price ?? Lets take it at face value at accept the judgement as most horses had no performance to go by and the fancied Horse was tracking decently.
What happened at race time was something totally unexpected.
Legend Reborn was backed down as if a Defeat was out of question.
Was that Sane ??? Nopes. Reasons ;
The horse was not ridden by the stable Jockey.
Going by the past record of the Trainer , it was noticed that most often the Horses from his stable tend to do well only if there are several entries during the day.On 27 th June , Legend Reborn was the ONLY Entry.
The Jockey Shahbuddin has a pathetic record. If iam right he has not won a race in bangalore / mysore or any other centre for that matter for the past 2 - 3 years. And to expect him to deliver on ONMONEY favorite was a bit asking too much.
Coming to the Winner , it may have not shown any great performance but in the race WON by Carla it was ridden by a mediocre Jockey and finished just behind Kilimanjaro which picked up a race on Saturday. Was tracking regularly and being ridden by a Jockey who has WON at least 30 races over the past 2 years. It was also one of the best bred Horses in the Fray.
Going through the race it was obvious that SHABUDDIN was pathetic to the core. Stud Muffin came from the last position at the home bend to WIN the race and the fancied runner which was running a close second throughout could not accomplish what was expected.

2.It was Gunpowder or Humsafar . Anyone well versed with the racing in bangalore is aware of the Trainers who are linked to each other and take turns obliging one another .HumSafar was being ridden by Mumbai import J.Chinoy who had NO Winners for quite some time. In fact most of his mounts are non jobbers who are participating just to reduce the handicap.Without going into the relative merits of the Horses it is fair to conclude that with a mediocre Jockey for Dhariwal it was a Gift race for Arjun for which the pay back was the 4 th race.J Chinoy had no clue on what to do and rode a race to perfection.
There was equal support for both but I guess the MONEY on Gun Powder was in excess of what was on Humsafar.Opening Odds and Race time odds did not vary a lot.

3. Opening odds on Sweet Performer was 2.75 and on The Darling Boy 1.60. At race time the odds on Sweet Performer was 1.10 and closed at .75. Did it deserve the ODDS ??
Just a fortnight back the same horse paid a whopping 82 for place in the race won by Ajnoba. It was a late effort and the horse edged out the fancied Sweet Caroline at the Post. As is the case with the Horses of Trainer Sharat Kumar , NIL TRACK WORK since the earlier run.Yet it is backed spiritedly at race time. Did it deliver ?? Nopes.
Ridden by Chandrasekhar who is Bookies delight at Mysore. Always tries to WIN at longer odds thereby ensuring that the MONEY received through the betting on the favorites is in favour of the bookies. When his Horse starts as favorite it rarely obliges and again the beneficiary is the Bookie. The trainer is also known to play GAMES and is a notorious character.
Jockey has a pretty bad record at bangalore. Has been unable to even place till date on all his mounts and YET IS Asked to Deliver a on money favorite.The expectations took the TOLL on the Jockey and the Horse and a Long shot which was totally ignored in the betting does the Bookies Proud.

4. Morning odds - Mark of Genius 2 Elite Land 3 Bugatti and Anna 4.
Tote odds at the commencement of betting was , Buggati 2.40 , Elite Land 3 , Mark of Genius 10 to 1 and Anna 4.5 to 1.
When horses are expected to Win the first requirement is that the Tote Odds should be in line with the bookie odds. If Mark of Genius is at 10 to 1 at the tote it is but obvious that the horse is not expected to WIN.Foreign Exchange displayed same characteristics in the race WON by Sun Kingdom. Opened at 3.5 in ring , tote odds was 12 to 1.
Bugatti was a horse which had failed several times in Winter. At times it was sacrificed for Horses owned by other friendly owners. On Expected lines the Odds at race time were , Buggati 2.25 , Anna - 2.75 , Elite Land 5.5 and Mark of Genius 3.5.
A curious look at the trainers on the Two fancied horses and the result was on expected lines. Pay Back time - Race # 2 and race # 4 shared between the trainers. The Jockey Imran Chisty is the most devious and dangerous characters even seen in racing. After Winning 3-4 Races some time back he failed to deliver on many fancied Horses last week. Having completed the Quota of 3 Winners on Saturday and 1 on Sunday through Gun powder was back to normal. His riding on the Horse was horrendous and it was fairly obvious that he had been BOOKED by the Bookies.
His rides on Anna and Morava Goodtime are prime examples of HOW TO LOSE a certain race.
With 4 horses in the ODDS , the ultimate beneficiary was obviously the bookies.

5. A shocker of a race with a bizarre ending.
Dramatic Dancer - Opening odds 3 to 1. race time odds - 1.25 giving the impression that a LOT OF MONEY IS on the HORSE.
Captains Lover was expected to Shine but surprisingly it was withdrawn , giving the impression that the race was FIXED for Dramatic Dancer. Lost of money come on the horse and its expected to be a walk over. Odds on Dolce Vino drift alarmingly as well. In the end it is a NO SHOW As the horse , for the first time in its career goes wide after travelling a few hundred metres and gulps down a substantuial portion of the punters money.
Bookies 4 - Punters 1 .
It is understood that there is money on the WINNER also but the maximum Money is on fancied horse only and if the favorite Loses the bookie is a WINNER having balanced the BOOKS.
6.Carla , being acclaimed all over as the next super star. Entrusted to the controversial Imran Chisty as the retained Rider was above the decalred wiight of 50 kgs for the horse.Over weight by 2 kilos.
Penny Wise Pound Foolish.
How does it matter ?? A clean Jockey like Sampson is definitely worth a handicap of even 5 kgs. For some mysterious reasons the Trainer does not go for quality and pays the price. Could Sampson have WON. I would think so as Imran Chisty was just unable to even control the horse and gifted the race to Sirono. Not taking anything away from Sirono but in the end the Jockey Merit was not visible on Carla and the connections must be ruing their decision.

7.Top Kapi - morning / opening odds - 1.2 - Camelot 6 to 1 with the Junk Zervan on Oban getting support at 5 to 1. Frankly this Jockey is pathetic , just have a look at his record over the week end as well as the last 2 racing days.
The Trainer of Camelot is a wily old fox and usually misleads the punters by having multiple entries. Does he go with Mallya the preferred Owner along with the retained rider or with a apprentice Jockey riding for some small time owners ???
With Top Kapi being entrusted to Imran Chisty again , the picture was perfect with misleading odds dominating the 20 minutes , prior to race time with some support coming in for leonardo and Camelot losing hope with the punters after CARLA debacle. Camelot has always WON at lucrative odds , in its earlier outing it beat DESDEMONA which again was ridden by CHISTY. Lots of co incidences.

as both Top Kapi and Leonardo failed with the rider on TopKapi showing his true colors.
8. With C Alford doing duty on Lads Gladiator the punters looked the other way as his record over the week end was indeed POOR. The horse had Cruising a couple of seasons earlier and then was systematically not allowed to perform , testing over wrong distances , ridden by poor jockeys or alternatively going with the doosara At race time the action shifts to Colonel Duff ridden by Shiva Kumar who is yet to complete his apprenticeship even after 4 to 5 years in the Profession. Another horse in the odds was Rumour Proof which had WON just One race in its career and then failed to deliver over the next 3/4 times. Again ridden by the mediocre Zervan. Surprising the odds on Lad's drift alarmingly an d sensing the opportunity the Trainer goes for the KILL.

9.With Sun Spirit being withdrawn it was a race for the last outing Winner Aztec Gold. Surprisingly there was some support for Yes Marina , the horse had just about managed to WIN a race in Winter , yet is touted as a classy . With Alford competing against Sampson the result was on expected lines.
Bookies 7 - Punters - 2 .
If the betting is not as per Horse / Jockey merit and is based on the FLOW of money at race time how do you expect the Punters to WIN against the Bookies.
There are trainers like Lokanath , Warren Singh and Sharat Kumar who go for the kill only when the Horse is FIT and the ODDS to their Liking. If some third parties put in the money and the Odds on the Horse comes down drastically , One has to take it for granted that the Horse WOULD fail to deliver.
The usual practice is to back a certain amount prior to the races and if the odds shorten drastically they LAY the horse by Five times the Size of initial bet and take the FREE MONEY without bothering on the consequences.
P.S.Chouhan had a couple for Winners last saturday and then over the next 2 race days did not bother to even Place on all his subsequent 10 - 12 mounts,. Surely it is not a coincidence .Jockeys taking turns in Winning.

Going by the quality of the horses on offer in 6 races and the Jockeys declared to ride it is but obvious that the races are not going to be very competitive. Hence caution is advised in the races where QUALITY is lacking. Small bets should be the order of the day.

Race for youngsters.
Anna gets a fair chance here but having said that we have to consider the Treble of Imran Chisty on Saturday.
Elite Land - Eternal Failure , one more chance could have been considered if the distance was 1200. 1100 looks SHARP for comfort.
Amazing Performer - Could surprise.
Mark of Genius - Owner had a Winner through Sabari on Saturday and that explains the poor performance of I Fancy YOU. Combination of Owner / Trainer / Jockey does not inspire confidence when it is FANCIED.
5.Dramatic Dancer . Sunny Spell , Dolce Vino.
Difficult race to pin point the Winner but going by the track work the race is restricted to the First two named horses.
Dolce Vino has some problems at the gates . Cant be relied upon for WIN.
6.Carla , Walnut Creek , Vijay Damini , Sirono.
Carla was very impressive , unanimous opinion . Hence gets the NOD. Will run at low odds , so i guess it is not going to be good enough to qualify for a WIN BET.
Sirono - Impressive Winner in race 28 over 1100 .Timings were also very good. Surprisingly the Trainer has a pretty bad record in the featured events.
Walnut Creek - Was MIGHTY impressive in race 79 demolishing the opposition. Should place as Jockey merit is visible.
Hall of Glory - F.R.A.B.G. ( letter G stands for GELDED , so it is easy to guess what i mean )
Vijay Damini - Impressive work outs.
7.Camelot - Washington Irvine - Top Kapi - Leonardo.
The front running Camelot has been very impressive in all its recent races . Has a great chance to upset the fancied Top Kapi.
Washington Irvine - has participated with some well known horses in Kolkata and Mumbai. Very well bred. Should easily Place here as Work jockeys are doing duty on some well known Horses.
Top Kapi- Jockey lost a certain race recently. But with the Trainer being suspended on that race day , i guess it was scheduled that way. Should WIN barring unforeseen circumstances.
Oban - With Camelot in the fray , it is but foolish to Expect Oban to Perform.
Leonardo - LONG LONG LONG layoff. But has done well in terms races as a 3 year OLD.
8.Colonel Duff - Spark of Bronte , Zanzara - Rumour Proof.
Close call .
Zanzara may turn out to be the surprise element in the race.
9.Aztec Gold , Yes Marina , Sun Spirit.
Going by its previous run , Aztec Gold has a very bright chance to WIN.
Sun Spirit - F.R.A.B.G.- has run fair races in Winter. Can run close over 1400. Win looks a bit difficult here.
Yes Marina - default 3 rd place.

Matias - most experienced of the lot . last run was suggestive.

only 7 runners , Two payouts at the Tote.
Lush Lashes has the best record at bangalore of having failed maximum number of times as a fancied runner. The only time It has WON a race the odds were reasonable.Irrespective of its merit it doe snot pay to follow LOSING horses.
Rezoom - came up very well in the closing stages of the race but could not catch ORDAINED ONE . Well placed on the scales , meeting horses which have run alongside the classic contenders at Bangalore.Good chance.
Ballibay - was backed spiritedly in its last run but lost tamely due to the lack of effort on the part of the controversial jockey.May relish the extra distance.
Camorra - Rider lost the whip in the race WON by Saloni.Is bred to stay . Can surprise.
4. Deep Blue Sky , Smart Ways , Southern King.
DBS - Last outing could be ignored as it was the first run after being gelded.The mile race seems the right distance for this well bred horse.
Smart Ways - next best in the fray.

Atlantus and highland Crown look out handicapped.
Advantage Logan - Trainer would have utilised the services of his Top jockey if there was an intent to WIN.
Bid For Gold - Coming from Kolkata , has definitely seen better horses but may need more distance to prove its mettle.
Magnanimity - not here.
Blink - One of the best horses in the Field but being ridden by a rider who has lost his skills in the recent past.
Trainer M.Eashwar is also under suspension , will be lead by " b " Class Britto.
Spot On - a established front runner who may find this TRIP suitable.
Desert Rule - Being ridden by a Promising Jockey from hyderabad. Handicap is very good.Place looks CERTAIN.
Caprioska - should Place.
6.Mystere , Amazer , Snow Peaks / Tirolono.
Close call , as all are closely matched.
Snow Peaks has positive change in equipment where Tirolono has negative change. With the trainers being linked it is obvious that Snow Peaks would be the Horse on JOB.
7.Chronicle , Cute Angel , Chesterford Touch.
The three ' C " s should be the ones to watch out for .
Chronicle has participated in terms races with better horses. if the handicap is not very taxing , can WIN with ease.
Chesterford Touch , but for the mediocre Vivek , could have been a Good Chance for WIN.
Good Gift failed against some poor bunch. Difficult here against youngsters.
Cute Angle will PLACE.
8.Kilimanjaro , Count Royal , Recharged.
Should be restricted to the first Two named horses only.
Recharged stands a fair chance to place along with Sky Marshall.

Italy will start as .45 favorite and should have go through the next stage of the tournament though its last 2 match performances were pathetic and insipid. I expect a 3 - 0 result.

New Zealand did well to hold the Champions Italy to a draw which was totally unexpected. However Paraguay is a better outfit and can go though to the next stage with a Two goal margin in this match. Paraguay will start as Odds on favorite @ .50
3. Denmark - Japan
Close call as both teams are evenly matched.But the Asian Team Japan is capable of surprising the fancied Danes. Odds is expected to be 1.25 for the Danes and 2.75 for the Japanese with Draw being offered at 2.25.
4.Cameroon - Netherlands
Netherlands is the fancied team in the group and hence gets the NOD @ .80 . A two goal difference can be expected.

Nigeria lost its previous match after Scoring a Goal as One of their players was sent off in the first half.Should WIN here.
Greece - Argentina
No Contest.
There have been many unexpected results in this World Cup and several high profile European teams are under threat of being knocked out.
On the other hand many South American Teams have comparatively done well. The Major Upsets till date being the Loss of Spain to Switzerland ,Germany to Serbia and the drawn games between Italy / New Zealand - England / Algeria . To some extent the Win of Japan over Cameroon was also not on expected Lines.
Most games have been touted as walk over for the fancied teams but the same has not occurred as some teams are struggling to score goals.
On Monday , we do get to see three matches .
Portugal - North Korea
Portugal should have the measure of North Korea , with a margin of at least 2 goals.
Odds may not exceed .45 for WIN , Draw odds may be in excess of 5 and a N.Korea WIN will make the punter hapy as the odds would be above 15 to 1.
Chile - Switzerland .
The latter has not conceded a GOAL since a long time in the World Cup and Chile may have to really play Well to ensure a WIN. A draw is most likely outcome.

Spain has been embarrassed enough after the loss in the first match. Will go all out against Honduras to prove a point. However with Spain failing to score in its first match One cant expect them to WIN by a big margin.

One could Go in for a small double on Portugal / Spain.
In the other match Draw could be a good option initially with the scope to reverse the bet at a later stage or back the Team which is ahead at the break.

Sky Liner - very impressive in the tracks . Most of the progeny of Hurricane State have been morning glory cases with just a few having proved their worth. On that count , does not impress .
Nessie - Well bred , good 2 nd to Aztec Gold. Positive switch in Jockey and Equipment could enable a even better performance.
Con Artiste - Name is very APT. On the basis of all its previous runs the Horse does look unbeatable on PAPER. Will start as favorite.
Spring Beauty - not sighted in tracks since the previous run. has very impressive bloodlines. Choice of Jockey and equipment does not instill confidence,
2. class VB
Attaturk , Haute Appeal , My Musketeer.
Bad race.
Attaturk looks certain for place and if the Jockey is competent can Strike.As always look for the race time odds.
3.African Sky , Black Super Star , Black Beauty.
Another bad race with limited options.
African Sky failed as a favorite to Still Will as a youngster. Has changed stables.
Should shine here as there are no outstanding runners .
4.Manthara , Allegro , Bid for Glory.
Another bad race , limited options.

Kingdom of Dreams is far superior to the rest of the runners. But after seeing the pathetic performance of Prakash in recent days it is difficult to recommend even Quality horses ridden by him. He had a Blank on saturday with none of his Horses finishing on board. One could not sight his Horses and even the commentator could not locate the Horses. On going through the videos it is clear that he was never in the hunt and his Judgement is very POOR . It is now clear that Only if the Horse is very superior and the other Jockeys not making sufficient efforts , then he is able to WIN. Jockey merit is absolutely ZERO.
Native Talent has the next best chance to score.
Sher Dil looks good on the scales.
6.Art Connoisseur , Indian Bolt , Sandalwood Star.
Limited options and the handicap on Its My Party is STIFF.
Indian Bolt looks a sure shot for place.
7.Magnanimity , In the Zone , Alacrity , Slickkit.
First named has a bright chance to annex the Trophy.
In the Zone - last run was decent , positive switch in equipment and rider merit will definitely enable a place spot.
Alacrity - Trainer has 3 entries and this looks the best.
Slickkit - has seen better horses in the western circuit. Has to strip fitter to WIN and also needs a strong rider to do well bangalore ,
8. Rakesh Wadhawan Sponsored Colts Trial Stakes.
1. Immense - Apprentice Jockey's don't usually WIN CLASSICS. On that count i am ruling it out.
2.Ciel Indienne - lack of a race run at Blr , does hamper its chances for a WIN. Can at best place.
Orient Glory - may not be even fit for Hyd classics.
Vijay Monarch - Fair 4 th to the fancied runner Sun Kingdom in race 14 over 1400 metres. But over a mile the capabilities does not look bright.
Ordained One - struggled to beat REZOOM in class IV carrying top weight. With level weights and some attractive tracks , in with a chance as the Bloodlines are the BEST.
Sun Kingdom - After Winning @ 16 to 1 , will now be offered at .80 . May have WON with a measure of comfort but a reading of the race suggests that the FRONT RUNNERS were a TIRED LOT and hence this Horse was able to WIN. The other point to be noted is that the Horse WON with the handicap in favour.With level weights it is not going to be EASY.
Moon Star - Just ONE WIN till date. Judging the way the Odds are drifting alarmingly on his mounts and the suspicious manner in which the Horses are ridden one gets the feeling that the Jockey is being taken care off well before the races. In any case , i cant see this Horse WINNING.
Arya Veer - one of the most impressive Winners on DEBUT at Bangalore. Bred Well , hope the mediocre Jockey is able to offer some assistance to the Horse.
Vernostonus - not here.
Spark of Atan - I wont mind a small each way bet - nominal amount.
Foreign Exchange - Ran like a DUD , very common for horses from the stables of this Trainer. In race 14 it was offered at 3.5 initially but the Tote odds was more than 12 to 1. Very unlike the way the Horses from the stable WIN.Trainer is very well connected to the bookmakers who know the fate of the horses in advance.The other horse which met a similar fate was Eagle Claws. At best one can hope for a place.
Don Valentino - was backed spiritedly in Saloni race. Ran pathetically. Cant be backed here for even place in this quality field.
Record Breaker - Coming from Kolkata .
9.Rugged Beauty , Royal Player , Desdemona.
Desdemona has failed more number of times than it has performed. Trainer's horses have not done well when fancied this season.
Royal Player - last run was forward. Should easily place. if the Jockey is competent can WIN.
Rugged Beauty - not very reliable Trainer. In and out Running is noticed in this horse. But any day better to bet on RB than Desdemona.
10. Gampu , Badda Rupaiyya , Vayuputra.

Morova Good Time has the best credentials but may not be a Value for Money bet as the odds are not going to be lucrative.
A Move to Remember , had a forward run on debut. Should easily place.
Others can fight for minor placings.

Sun Dawn has seen better horses in Winter. Last run to be ignored as it was the First run after being Gelded. Should place here.
Crown Express - fantastically bred , ridden by the retained Rider unlike the previous occassion. Should WIN.
3.Star of Desire , Foswell , Airborne Magic.
another race framed for 3 year olds.Rrace restricted to the First Two named horses only.
Foswell may attract more support on account of its 2 nd to CARLA but Star of Desire has positive switch in Jockey and is tracking extremely well. Should be the Horse to Beat.
Airbonre Magic and Swift Star for the minor placings.
4.Gift of Love , Megajoy , Moves Good Enough , Magic Million.
Gift of Love is better placed on the scales and gets the first preference.
Moves Good Enough was not disgraced carrying 62 kgs and finishing 2 nd to Couler Rouge. The handicap is a bit stiff and if the Jockey is upto the task can Deliver.
Magic Million - was run was forward with a work jockey. Can Surprise.
5.Tanzanaite , Still WIll , Greens , Spark of Isis.
One of the most competitive races during the day.
Tanzanaite's last run was sharp to its liking. Has a decent chance with the Champion Jockey.
Still Will was given a atrocious ride by K.Alam in Dream Park race. Has a strong rider who may be able to change the fortunes of the Controversial Horse.
Greens - last run with Ashok Kumar was forward. Good chance here as Jockey does well for this Trainer.
Spark of Isis - Lost a certain race due to Jockey merit in its last run. Meeting quality field here. Can at best place.
6.Rapture of Victory , Flying Tricolor , Desert Realm , Braavo.
ROV from hyd has been very consistent at the parent centre and is also very well bred. Gets a fair chance here.
Flying Tricolor - a known front runner. Should easily place. Only worry is the performance of the Jockey.
Braavo - a place hopeful only.
7. High quality CLASS I race in the offing.
Sprint Star - with Mallesh narredu does not appeal to ME.
Beckett - lost many followers by losing to the very ordinary Change of Luck. Should make amends. Horse is a moody customer and has a good record at Bangalore.Odds may not be worth a POSITIVE BET.
Echoes of light - difficult for even place.
Fleet Indian - After One classic WIN , no performance , can at best place.
Aristos - last run , pathetic after being prominent. Looks difficult with this rider.
Cots Wold Arms - has the handicap in favor. Has seen better horses in its career. Should place.
Onassis - lost a certain race due to incompetence of Jockey who could not get a clear run in Sprint Star race. Difficult to see it beating some genuine class 1 Horses .
Spark of Gold - Most consistent horse at Bangalore. Should eb in the fighting line.
Mothers Pride - not here.
Sans Pareil - may get some support but after seeing the fate of the Horses it beat in Kolkata , it is difficult to fancy its chances here.
8.A Run to Remember , Alianz , Son of the Soil.
Bad race. best to keep away from the fancied runners.
9. ShotGunn , Flaming Lamborgini , Bucephalus , Classical Dancer.
Most runners are going over the wrong distance / ridden by mediocre jockeys / have negative change of equipment.
Shot Gunn was an impressive Winner recently. Can repeat.
FL - does need 1400 to prove its credentials. Even in its previous outing the distance of 1200 was sharp for comfort. Can place.
Bucephalus - should place.
10.Glutues Maximus , Dance N Celebrate , Pearl of Bangalore , Power Colors.
Glutues Maximus stands out in this bunch. Not sure if the payout would be decent enough to warrant a bet.
(ps - had expected this to be favorite , ODDS are 2.5 , decent enough for a BET )
Pearl of Bangalore - well bred , can place.
Dance N Celebrate - is the only horse with a chance to beat the fancied runner.

8.Persian Princess can stay the distance. Each way - 30 20 50 .
9.Bucephalus - Place. Wont mind a negative bet on Shotgunn.

Not a very ideal day to wager on due to multiple choices in most races or due to very low odds on the fancied horses.
These have been shortlisted based on Morning odds which are not very reliable. Opening Odds do have more credibility.In any case the Race time odds are to be noted for bets.

How quick are they to adapt to the situation can be observed from the following.
In the World Cup match between Nigeria and Greece the opening Odds were as follows ;
Nigeria - 1.30 Good chance
Draw - 2.10 If not Nigeria then only Draw
Greece - 3.00 not expected to WIN
After the Nigerian Goal within the first 20 minutes the Odds on Nigeria plummetted to 35 - 37 , draw odds going to 4 and Greece Win upto 8.
This is usually the case as No TEAM can come back from a Goal DOWN and WIN a match these days.
Then the crucial moment of the game , which was picked by the Bookies quickly. One Nigerian player was sent out for a FOUL and they had to play the remainder of the Match with just 10 players which is a BIG disadvantage in any TEAM Game.
And the bookies were very quick to pick this and all of a sudden the ODDS on the Nigerian Team nearly doubled to 75 - 77 for the above reason and within a few minutes Greece had the Equaliser.

Highlighted Horses may be my bet based on the prevailing odds.at race time.
1. Latin Twister , Do the Music , Destiny Wish.
Looks quite open , I do fancy the chances of Latin Twister , last run distance was a bit sharp.
I will go with LT each way.
2.Classic Concept , Land of Gold , Majestic Strides.
behram ran a pathetic race last time. Cant be trusted over the extended distance at TOP HANDICAP.
Classic Concept has had 2 runs. May relish the longer distance as it is bred to stay.
Only 2 payouts , difficult call . Will go by race time trends.
3. Breed Apart , Spark of Zeal , Actor.
Breed Apart was an expensive failure last year. Has seen better horses in its career. Looks set to WIN in this set.
Actor appeals on handicap,
If the odds on BA are above 3 I will go for WIN. Else skip and have a small bet on Actor for place.
4..Sun Device , Record Time , Sterling Speed,
Very little to choose from.
The first two may not be fancied and stand a good chance to finish on board.
Sterling Speed is a known front runner. Should place. Win with this Jockey is a bit difficult.
Sun Device - small chance each way .Poor rider cant take chances.
5.Royal View , Alejandros , Matter of Opinion.
Last effort of RV was encouraging. Can make amends if the Intent is visible at race time.
Alejandros looks GOOD for place.
Matter of Opinion - last run was forward. Has seen better days. Can place.
MOO - Each way.
6.Chief De Mission , Final Frontier , Lyra.
CDM has participated in Category I races at Hyd. Last run was suggestive. Should WIN.
Final Frontier may relish the mile distance . Can place.
Dutch Hero - was not allowed to run per merit earlier. Not sure if it can WIN here as the field has many genuine milers.
CDM - WIN / SHP only. Or Final Frontier Place.
7.Boston Ranger , Super Sha , the Force .
Need of the Hour may need a few runs to strip fitter. Last few runs in bangalore were not up to the mark.
Super Sha was finishing on well in one of the races recently. Should do well here.
The Force - consistent in previous season. Should easily place.
Boston Ranger - has run with the likes of Gershwin . A late finisher in most races. Should do well here.
Super Sha or Boston Ranger each way. Which ever is above 8 to 1 .
8.Here Comes the Don , Blood Stream , Rich Rogue.
A difficult race . Many contenders in the fray.
Blood Stream looks moral for place.
Rich Rogue was never in the betting in the previous run. Can place if the Jockey is upto the task.

Both are evenly matched , Portugal has some Key STARS where Ivory Coast has consistency on its side.This league match could turn out to be the most competitive match since the start of the cup .
0.12 Brazil - 50 to 1 North Korea. Draw - 12 to 1
Should be at least 3 - 0 in favor of Brazil. Any score below that would be a disgrace to the fancied team.
Punters who bet on Football do have multiple options on the matches as all three Bets are accepted until ONE goal is scored or alternatively when the match is progressing towards the close.
If one does have a look at all the matches played till now , it is clear that the TEAM fancied initially in the betting has not delivered to the Punters as as most of the Matches have turned out to be a Draw.

Humsafar , Power Grid are the horses which may both place,
Yes I Can is an unreliable horse.Cant be backed with confidence.
3.Star Experience , Smart Ways , Senor Speedy.
Hillary does not impress for WIN , though the bloodlines are impressive.
Star Experience should Place easily. Qualifies as a Each way bet.
Smart Ways - First run after being gelded. Impressive in tracks. Can upset.
Senor Speedy - Tracking well , may need a run to prove its credentials. Sire Rosmini yet to prove its credentials.
Lad Diva - not sighted in tracks since the last run. Can at best place.
4.Batista , Sky Train , Love Conquers All.
Close finish expected.
Batista finished a poor 4 th to Eagle Claws.But has matched strides with better horses. Should do well here.Do note that Batista was just 1.5 lenghts behind Moonlight Romance in the race which was WON by Sure Future.And MR is being Touted as a Moral be for the day.So on relative merit Batista is the better horse in this race.
The Leader - untested in bangalore tracks , seen in mock race but most of the runners are non serious contenders in the mock races. Rider Srinath and the Weights 60.5 kgs are likely to play spoilsport.
Sky Train - has seen better horses in Winter. Working well to merit a Place bet.
Cavalry Charge - last run to be ignored due to Rider . The positive switch can help it perform better.
Love Conquers all - Won impressively even at heavy impost. in race 4. Meeting some quality runners here and conceding weight . Can place.
5 Cruising , Blushing Beam , Cayenne.
Bhagirathi looks difficult after its previous WIN in race 16. At best can come 3 rd.
Blushing Beam - last run with Vivek was pathetic. Md Shoiab has WON in Winter in the lower class. The track conditions may enable a decent performance here.
Cruising - Failed repeatedly inspite of facing poor opposition. Has the best chance to score . If it loses it may have to shift to Kolkata or OOTY.
Cayenne - speedy , can shine .
6.Fillies Trial Stakes.
Royal Surprise - Not here.
Vijay Damini - looks difficult , WON at bottom handicap at Hyd.Also it had lost to the Leader which is now competing in Open Class.That makes it difficult to consider this horse for betting.
Couleur Rouge - has hardly beaten any thing of note. May at best come 3 rd.
Siachen - was given a horrendous ride by Srinath in race 15 . At level handicaps with Eagle Claws here.Would have preferred a better jockey but in any case with the track conditions suited to the progeny of Burden of Proof , this Horse should do well.
Moonlight Romance - Impressive Winner of Mock race. Beat Xisca by nearly 9 lenghts but this Filly was in receipt of weight. Hence i dont give this Fancied horse much of a chance.It may have WON impressively but youngsters Winning due to the weight advantage cant be given preference where the handicap is the same for all runners.
Eloise - Impressive in race 6 . If it lasts the Mile , can place.
Xisca - I usually dont back many Horses ridden by C.Alford. But going by its performances in Mumbai , this filly does have a chance to Score. Will go with a each way bet.
Eagle Claws - Impressive in both starts.Meeting high quality field for the first time and most of them will definitely be on the JOB.Will place ,a WIN would be the icing on the cake.
7. Elite Land , Supremacy , Citrali , Da Xia.
Limited options.Elite land has had a run recently. Has run over various distances , may find the rhythm here .Gets the nod.
Supremacy was very impressive over 1100 in Winter .Last run was on 13/02/2010. Not sure of the reason for the long break.WON at low handicap. Now asked to carry weight.
8.Abnoba , Missoni , Sweet Caroline.
Could go any which way. Jockey merit would decide the race.
Abnoba is very well bred and should get the better of the fancied SC.
Missoni would need more ground to WIN.
Dim Sum has a decent chance to place if any of these three are unable to find a place on Board.
