Options for saturday

These are my choices for the DAY.


1.Yamaguchi , Nearco Master ,Kickingking ,Sun Classique.

Bad race to start the day.

Mighty Prince : At this weight a ???

Spark of Salerno - intent to WIN is lacking going by choice of Selvaraj.

Yamaguchi - was backed in previous outing.Bad run.Will definitely place here.Good each way.

Nearco Master - is a genuine class 3 horse , systematically brought down in the scales.Has the SON riding for DAD.Can upset.

Kickingking - has seen better days.Choice of Jockey is misleading but last run was suggestive of talent.

Sun Classique - may need 1400 to prove its mettle.



2.Star bright / Sherman / Alviano.

At least 6 horses in the fray are good enough to fight for honors.

Red Renegade - Long Layoff is a matter of concern. Finished 2 nd to Captivating which is in contention in the derby. But due to the break , ignored.

Dolce Vino - superb track work , fantastically bred. No idea if it can repeat the track form in the race.

Criminal Lawyer - still sporting Steel Shoes ?? Intent to do well may not be available due to presence of stable mate.

Real Magic - Presence of Mallya horse in the fray and choice of L Marshall does reflect lack of intent.

Alviano - Bred well , tracking well, long delayed debut.Can place if the underfoot conditions are suitable.

Star bright - tracking well , positive change of Jockey and equipment. Will be the horse to beat.

Sherman - did all the running in Polish Patriot race. Should place here.



3.Victory Motion , Haute Appeal , Silver Paris.

best race of the day.


4.Marcegalia , Luminious Gold , Hall mark ,Caprioska.

Marcegalia - performance will depend on Jockey who is back after a long layoff.

Luminious Gold - Last run was indicative of the ability. Has seen better horses as a three year old.WILL place.

Hall mark - was full of running in previous run when the horse was not in the odds.Should place by default.

Caprioska - most consistent LOSER in bangalore. Will have to maintain that record.


5.Rare and Precious , Dancing Dynamite , Spirituall , Diego Riveria.

Rhapsidion Snow does well when taken to the front.Has beaten many quality horses earlier.Last run was dismal due to the choice of Jockey. I would rule out a WIN , at best 3 rd spot.Capt Appoo has had his WIN last week.

Dancing Dynamite - stable mate favorite .V.N. Babu , OWNER of DD has Red Renegade and Caprioska.So i would go with this Horse.

Spirituall - last run was gifted to Aquitaine for obvious reasons. Difficult to WIN , can place.

Diego Riveria -game galloper , will it need more distance ?? fast place and top handicap may prove its undoing though it is a CLASS ahead of the rest of the field.


6.Leon Cavallo , Flair Queen , Royal Player.

So Much more may need this run. Definitely a good horse but to expect Srinath and the Horse to do well after a long layoff is a ???

Leon Cavallo - pathetic ride by N S Parmar in previous outing though the Horse was participating after nearly 10 months.Moral for PLACE. Good each way.

Flair Queen - stable not performing for past 6 months. Many a time the choice of jockey and lack of track work is the undoing.Horse is GOOD enough to easily place.

Royal Player - coming back to old form.keep an eye.

Excellent Ability - New owner may have to Wait for some more time for that First WIN.


7.Celestial Way ( Cruising ) , Lowdnes Square , Classic Charge , NOX .

Forest Flair .Is this a run too soon ??? Won over 1200 but over this extended distance , i would hesitate to back it for WIN as the Horse is conceding weight all around.

Celestial Way - beat nothing of note. Getting 10 kgs from FF. Will be fancied.Should do well.

Cruising - has seen better horses.But will this Horse be tried due to the presence of Sporting OWNER horses ???

Classic Charge - can hope to place with this Jockey.Last run with Neeraj was a disgrace.

Lowdnes Square - MORAL for PLACE. Has definitely seen better horses in WINTER.

Nox - why CHISTY ???



8.Rule of Attraction , Neel Gagan , Royal Zen.

Walk over for the first named.

Others can fight for minor placings.





Kainchi : Win - Star bright , Leon Cavallo , Marcegalia , Yamaguchi and Rule of Attraction.

Place : Nearco Master , Sherman , Hall Mark , Rare and Precious and Flair Queen.
