Special Race day - 17 th July Pune

The first day of the pune racing season had the bookies laughing all the way with long priced horses Winning most of the races. Not that the winning horses were bad , just that the ODDS quoted on the favorites and the Winners are so different and the odds so deceiving that punters almost get the feeling that the un fancied Horse cant WIN.

Tempting the punters to place LOSING BETS by giving the impression that the favorite is TOO GOOD.

One of the reasons why favorites are usually not recommended here.

my views for FRIDAY .

1.
Saarah - First day , Trainer Jayantilal lost on the fancied horse. Can make amends on this Horse on which a winning performance is long due.Good for place.
Golden Grace - other than losing as favorite , there is nothing in this filly .
Salawati - bred to STAY. Can upset.
Up North - in consistent , Pune may not be its preferred track.
Forest Native - so near yet so far , unable to break the JINX.Looks difficult again.
Johnny Bravo - consistent horse , should PLACE by default.
Yowza - has the bad habit of sluggish start.Changed stables with the earlier Trainer going to Kolkata .

River Tern - looks a bit difficult at this handicap.
Secret Talk - Lucrative double on opening day. At best PLACE.
Paper King - Horse running Vb race ??? that says it all .Trainer / Jockey had a great record on thursday.
Zippity Zip - place hopeful.
Above all - After Call To Arms and Major Wager , can ABOVE ALL succeed ??
Dangerous Belle - may at best place.

Devilitto and Highland vision - choice of Jockey does indicate lack of intent.
Classic Ruler - failed miserably after being backed as MORAL bet for WIN over 1400. Can it succeed over 1000 ???
Knight of Windsor - can upset.
American Idol - not sighted in track but activity seen in the POOL . If taken to the front can PLACE.
Phospher - Should do well .CAN WIN .
Highland Music - difficult for place also.

Black Falcon - not at this weight .
Lyrical Lass - Jockey OZA does not inspire confidence at 62 kgs.Horse has the ability to PLACE.
Expensive Affair - Does well only in pune , 8 runs in Mumbai unplaced. ALl dubious runs , can it succeed or will it meet the fate of major wager ???
Refuse to bend - SHOULD PLACE , can upset.
Step by Step - not here.
Cloud Cover - failed miserably as favorite.
Hi Dolly - keep an eye for the UPSET.
Bold Act - likely to shine .

Sea Treasure - at unbackable ODDS.
Secret Glory - why not B Prakash ???
Paris Hilton - at best 3 rd.
Courage under Fire - not sighted in tracks,

Aurora Aurelalis - Good chance to score.
Ekhabinskya - on the upswing. I dont give it much of a chance with this JOCKEY.
Sucessor - gelded recently.In any case it was a Hyped Horse , losing its last 2 starts.
Appreciate - no track work but a genuine UPSET hopeful.

Chanakya - my follow horse , has the class to easily WIN. Good each way.
Noble Salute - no record to back its claims.
Fenoa - could have WON on debut. Should do well here.
Great White - speedy , good for place.
Moon Flower - draw 13 ?? 1200 metres , risky bet.
River Rule - doubtful for PLACE also.
Solar Angel - tracking well , needs to be watched.

Highland Bounty - can only PLACE.
Yankee Lane - Jockey is a turn off. Horse is good.
Cameo - after change in stable , no great performance.Can place.
Wild Torronaado - May do well over 1000 metres.
Flaming Arrow - too many linked horses in the fray.Can SKIP.
Sierra Vista - good for PLACE.Can WIN.

Chotee Begum - very impressive winner on debut. Poor field , can WIN but better to skip as the odds are likely to be less.
Tyumen - can hope to place.
Tromos - S.nayak ???
Solor - Moral for PLACE. My choice of each way bet.
Fire Vault - can upset.
Lusty - Well bred.Can do well here.
